@PinoyInUS No I do not have EAD. Only F-1 status for now. I plan on applying it with I-485 along with other forms. Do you have an estimate of how long it takes to get EAD? thanks.

It's 90 days on the website but it seems longer when i read threads on forums. Lets wait for @kaylaKo's reply, she might have her ead already.

unfortunately, i haven't received EAD yet. It's more than 90 days and they are still reviewing my case since I submitted a service inquiry.. I'm on a working visa, so I don't really need it for now. But hey the wait is driving me crazy sometimes.

I heard other folks who are on F2A AOS received their EAD within 90 days. Though they requested to expedite the process.

Oh well, you gotta be patient in the whole process.

@kaylaKo Thanks for the info. One more question. Do I need to fill I-693 (medical examination sheet) as well? Does it go with the whole package? thanks

Hi all, I am beneficiary of F2A petition. My priority date is Oct 07, 2015. I am currently in US in F1-student visa. I am planning to do Adjustment of Status(AOS). I just looked into the USCIS webpage (https://www.uscis.gov/visabulletin-feb-17) and saw that the dates for filing  is 22Nov15. Does this mean I can file papers for AOS? And if yes, it is I-485  (https://www.uscis.gov/i-485) that I have to fill right?

Thank you in advance.

Hey there yes u can file the AOS nw .yes the i-485

I-693 has a validity of 1 year. I did submit last October and with how the bulletin is moving, I might redo it again..

Did you receive a RFE or a RFIE? How did they expedite the proces? Thanks

I didn't receive any RFE or RFIE.. i just happened to be of the unlucky folks whose files were left on a forgotten stack of papers. lol.

For expedite process, you need to have a job offer, proof of hardship.. It might be helpful too, if you ask help from your local congressman.
