For the check off list some of the required documentation I don't have as I have never been married or divorced before, military records etc.. do we just put a n/a for the documents that don't apply to us for the checklist?

Any advice on how to get the appropriate picture for the DS 160 form? Do most people just take it with a personal camera and upload to your computer? Or does this require us to go to a place that does passport photos?

Live in a border town and I have visited the usa so many times I don't have an accurate history. it literally would take pages. where can I write on the form that I live in a border town and come over frequently? I have been recording my previous visits knowing this question would be asked. I thought it would have been the last 5 visits. Can anyone help me?

Just include as many as the form gives room for.

We used a picture from a cell phone and downloaded it into a file to use. He actually took a picutre of his passport picture and sent it to me to download. It took a few tries to get their program to accept it, but it finally went. Others may have better ideas. I'm not really computer savvy like that.

Any of the above will do but is should be to US Passport Photo dimensions and requirements. Do a Google search for those.

I have difficulty uploading mine too. It gets rejected. Want to know as well. Please help us.

Yes it took me 2 days to get it to work! It will tell you if the pic is blurry, incorrect lighting, etc....I had to keep playing with it to get one to take.

You don't need to check anything, just sign the bottom. It's telling you to bring those documents to the interview if you have them.

You don't have to check anything off, just sign it. They just need confirmation that you received the list of what you need to bring to the interview. That way if you don't, they can go "well you had a checklist..."

We took a photo of me against a white wall with the curtains opened with daylight. Just make sure you're centered, it'll take a couple tries.
