Hello friends good morning

I checked the USCIS web site and it says that the department of state (US Embassy)sent back my K1 visa application for a review after one year of AP at the Embassy and that they are reviewing it,

Please can someone let me know what this means and what is required of the petitions during this period of review and how long those this review take, before it is sent back to the embassy for visa again

Thank you all for your help in this matter

Usually they will let it expire.

I would be working on your Plan B. Look at why you were denied. Issues that you may have had at interview and fix them if you can. If marriage is in the cards marry and file a I-130. Most K1's just expire. So don't sit around.

Do you have your congressperson on the case getting info for you. If not that should be your next call.

K1's will expire and not be reviewed, even though the embassy says they will return your case for "review."

Returned spousal visas will be reviewed, but not K1's, so you can either marry and file a CR1 or repeat the K1.

Our case was also returned after 16 months of AP. We re filed and he is here now.

Good luck !
