Hello all, My spouse is scheduled to enter stateside shortly after obtaining her CR-1 visa. However, due to my upcoming move, she will be arriving at a new address (same state - NJ) and I was wondering what is the best way to document the same with the USCIS? I have used my current address across all forms and have requested the SSN, GC to be sent to my current address as well. I want to make sure the SSN and the GC dont get delayed due to this impending change. I read somewhere that a change can be requested at the port of entry (POE). Is that accurate? If yes, what additional details will I need to provide to the immigration officer? If no, do I have to submit an AR-11? Any other options that I need to consider? TIA for your timely assistance.

I lost my wallet with my green card yesterday, I have my path ceremony next month. I do not want to pay $540 for a new one. Is it okay if I report it as lost and bring the document instead?

Following multiple setbacks, my medical is set to expire in August. The Montreal Consulate just requested ANOTHER document which they could have requested at the interview. The window for the actual move to USA is looking pretty tight right now. The process seems to be engineered for foreign spouses sitting overseas twiddling their thumbs, waiting for the golden doors to swing open so they can immediately flock into the USA. Some of us are working people and have complex affairs to settle once we finally get the visa. What is the best way to postpone the process to give us some more breathing space? I imagine I can request another medical? They have my passport, so would I need to request that back? Also, I think someone posted that the consular officer needs to approve another medical. Can someone advise on a suitable course of action?
