  1. That's why I prefer to keep it robot-level, plenty of romance, no immigration risk, just sadness when the server dies. https://www.businessinsider.com/soulmate-users-mourn-death-ai-chatbots-2023-10
  2. Where are you residing? You can file for divorce in that state. Not sure if you have any power in deciding which name she will use in the future. Might be a good idea to consult with an attorney to make sure you don't forget anything; might or might not be able to file on your own, depending on the situation, and how comfortable you are with paperwork.
  3. It's a relatively common occurrence, don't panic. Some locations are faster than others at treating files after the interview. You might want to search the forum for recent Paris experiences, to get a better idea. Bonne chance!
  4. You can discuss this with the interviewing officer. Easiest might be to fly back to your residence, then mail the passport back to the consulate. Other option might be to stay in Guangzou until the visa is issued, however, in most consulates, that is no longer an option. What other documents are acceptable to travel? Anything else your son could get before the interview?
  5. 5.1 autofills with what I type in 3.29 6.4 (see https://ibb.co/HCZfwXF) Can be filled after I check the box 6.20 autofills/totals with what I enter in 6.7, 6.10, 6.13 I suggest trying from a computer.
  6. The superfast are outliers, you should expect the processing time to be somewhat longer than that.
  7. Which field/box is giving you trouble? I'll try it here and see if it is the form, or something on your side. Just tested with the example in your first message, and I had no problem. Just needed to check the box before the text field was active. https://ibb.co/HCZfwXF I have seen this kind of issue with people using mac/ipads.
  8. In addition to the good advice already provided, your local library or community center might have English Talk Time, or a similar program, where she could practice her skills. In my town, they also do mock citizenship interviews. I am sure she will appreciate your support. Best of luck to you two!
  9. It's ok if you don't have the barcode, just make sure to clearly identify yourself, and why you're sending the documents/who requested them.
  10. The onus is on you to demonstrate to them the value of your assets, that they are liquid, etc. No 401k, IRA, anything else more traditional to show them? Otherwise, the joint sponsor solution is certainly the easiest solution.
  11. USCIS told them: who/how exactly? The call centre agent? They got a letter?
  12. I've provided similar screenshots for some of my evidence. Seemed to have been accepted, since I was approved.
  13. The document has been updated since 2017. https://www.cbp.gov/sites/default/files/assets/documents/2023-Nov/Carrier Information Guide ENGLISH.pdf Which documents did your permanent resident spouse present at boarding?
  14. Look at the ita matrix,or Skyscanner, to see the calendar of cheapest flights. Return tickets are usually cheaper than one-ways, but not always. Consider leaving/arriving at other airports in the area.
