Hello all. I hope you all are doing good. I just wanted to ask that me and my wife who is a US citizen got married in Pakistan. My came to marry me and stayed in Pakistan just for two days because she was having her new job. I had a very simple wedding with my immediate family only. I have the wedding pictures and few random with my wife I took in those two days. I am confused that is there any problem or if there could be something wrong in the interview? How should I deal with it while giving the interview at embassy?

Thank you too all in advance!

How many other visits did she make?

Depending on the other evidence you have to show for a bonafide relationship, it may or may not be a problem. How many other visits did your wife have? How long have you known your wife? How long engaged? Chats and Skype records? Did you send a lot of evidence like passport stamps and chat records with the initial filling of the I-130?

The embassy will want to see that your relationship is bonafide, but if you have some of this evidence you can overcome any redflags you may have.

Good luck!

10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

How many other visits did she make?

Actually we got married recently this year in the month of April. My wife came over to Pakistan for two days to marry me and we had a very simple wedding. The reason she came only for two days only was that that she was having her new job.

We got married recently this year in the month of April and she filed for me just as she reached US. We know each other from 2003 as we used to study in the same school back in Karachi. After that she migrated to US in 2009.

She made only one visit to Pakistan and that was for our marriage for two days only in April. We had a very simple wedding with only my immediate family. I have the wedding pictures and our random pictures too in those two days. I know my wife since childhood as we used to study in the same school in 2003. I am not engaged, I got married with her (nikah). I used to talk to her over skype most of the time, but I dont have records. Instead, I have the skype and facetime screenshots of ours. With my I-130 I just sent their simple requirements. I didn,t sent any evidence like photographs or passport stamps or chat record. I would appreciate if you help me overcome the redflags in my case. Thanks

Certainly plenty of face time before the interview.

Will the screenshots of facetime and skype work?

I do have our whatsapp chat history but at that time we used to be only friends and used to talk like very normally with not much attraction. Should I take that with me to the interview too?

I mean together

You seemingly have spent 2 days together in 6 years.

You mean I have to show a strong relationship between me and my wife through the internet ?

You need to show a strong relationship with your wife and that this marriage is not just to obtain an immigration benefit.
