i485 decision confusion

We had our marriage-based adjustment of status interview on August 20, 2014 and we felt confident it went really well. Earlier today our marriage-based adjustment of status was updated to say the card was in production so it sounded like we were approved. A few hours the status was updated again to read the following:

Card/ Document Production: On August 29, 2014, we ordered production of your new card. Please allow 30 days for your card to be mailed to you. If we need something from you we will contact you. If you move before you receive the card, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283. This step applies to applications that result in an applicant receiving a card (such as a "green card") or other document (such as a naturalization certificate, employment authorization document, travel document, or advance parole). Applications will be in this step from the time the order to produce the card/document is given until the card/document is produced and mailed to the applicant. You can expect to receive your card/document within 30 days of the approval of your application. If you do not receive your document, please contact our National Customer Service Center at 1-800-375-5283.

A few hours later our status was updated to read the following:

Decision

On August 29, 2014, we mailed you a notice that we had registered this customer's new permanent resident status. Please follow any instructions on the notice. Your new permanent resident card should be mailed within 60 days following this registration or after you complete any ADIT processing referred to in the welcome notice, whichever is later. If you move before receiving your card, please call our customer service center at 1-800-375-5283.

During this step the formal decision (approved/denied) is written and the decision notice is mailed and/or emailed to the applicant/petitioner. You can use our current processing time to gauge when you can expect to receive a final decision.

The I-130 status is still showing as initial review. Can someone explain what this means? Is the green card approved?

Additionally, the I-130 status was adjusted to read:

On August 29, 2014, we mailed you a notice that we certified our approval of this case and sent it to the appropriate appellate body for review. They will notify you directly when they make a final decision. If you move while this case is pending, follow the instructions provided in the notice and use our Change of Address online tool to update your case with your new address or call our customer service center at 1-800-375-5283.

During this step, USCIS initiates the background checks of the applicant/petitioner and identifies issues that may need to be addressed either during an interview or by asking the applicant/petitioner to submit additional information or documentation. USCIS reviews the applicant's/petitioner's criminal history, determines if there are national security concerns that need to be addressed, and reviews the application/petition for fraud indicators.

I don't understand what this means. Does anyone have an idea?

We also had our interview on August 20 and the notification I received for I-130 was worded differently :

"On August 22, 2014, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I130 IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN. Please follow any instructions on the notice. If you move before you receive the notice, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283"

The only weird thing is that we received the 3 notifications hours after the interview, then the dates changed on the system.

On September 5, 2014, we received 1-797s (NOAs) certifying the 1-485 and I-130 applications were approved on August 29, 2014. The permanent resident card is supposed to arrive within 3 weeks of the date of the NOA. I wish all of you the same quick path as we've experienced.

His green card arrived today! I can't believe it took less than 5 months from the time we submitted the I-130 and I-485! What a relief!
