Visa Approved

Hi there,

We would just like to say to everybody thank you for the help over the past 4 months. Today I went for my interview in the Dublin Embassy and it more less went well and was approved.

Like many people, we definitely could not have done this without the help from the people on this fantastic site. We were quite lost until we came across it.

I was at the interview by myself today but there were two other couples there going for the same thing. For the most part it was a speedy process, the only hassles I almost had were the I34 form, which I would say is the most important and also past visits to the U.S.A.

So I should have the visa in a couple of days and then off to Phoenix.

Thanks again for the help and hopefully we can use our experience to help others.

Hey, congrats! Glad you guys were approved so quickly, as we received our NOA1 in March and are still waiting for NOA2 and are the the TSC as well. I was also wondering what hassles you had regarding past visits to the U.S.

My fiance has visited 3 times, twice on ESTAs and he was also here for a year on a J-1. We specifically didn't get married on the J-1 to avoid hassles with violating visa terms so are really hoping it won't come back to bite us during this process. Oh, and he is also Irish!
