Form I-751 Rejected! 4 days early. :-(

I don't know what to say but I am irritated! My Green Card is expiring on June 11th of this year and they received my application the 7th of March. The rejection letter dated 11th of March and I received it today the 13th and it says I filed too early. It's very close to 90 window. Any advice on what to do now? I was thinking to call but I don't know if it's very good idea. Any inputs will be appreciated. Thank You!

"Very close" does not cut it. The 90 day rule is hard and fast. You cannot file prior to the 90 days. Re-file within the 90 day period. Follow the guides...read, read, read...

Agree, refile now that your 90 day window has opened. You encountered the situation described in the VJ ROC Guide:

It is very important to file the I-751 within the correct window of time, and be sure not to file it before the 90-day window. If you file it too early, they will send your application back. You may file at any time during the 90 day window, but it is prudent to file fairly early in the window.

Did they not return your fee back?(They are supposed to return the fee back when sending package back)

When you refile it you send the package again with the required fee.

I received the rejection letter today and I didn't received the documents/the whole package yet. I think I will wait for the package. What do you think?

Definitely you should call to make sure they will return your packet along with filing fee but honestly if they sent you a denial the most likely filed the check... Reapply the only thing that s**ks is that you will have to pay the filing fee again. But I just read they sent you a rejection notice they should've sent you packet along with the rejection and the filling fee...... CALL ASAP!!

The instructions are pretty clear on when to send your application. I hope you get your money and documents back. I will definitely try to ask, I think its odd that it wasnt sent in one package, meaning they may have cashed it. Keep us updated. This is also a good lesson to others.

I sent my packet 3 weeks early that was because USCIS sent me a reminder saying that i need to file my i751. Lately someone here toldme they sometimes send the reminder before the 90day window.

Its been 2 weeks that i sent my packet and so far i havent received any mail from USCIS neither have they sent back my packet.

I would like to know what is the approx time USCIS takes to mail back the ROC packet. I hope they dont take more than the 90day window.
