Still AP after more than 2 weeks now

Hi everyone, does anyone have been AP for more than 2 weeks?

I am wondering what's taking too long for AP since I already have a US tourist visa which will expire 2019 and just just waiting for the fiancée visa.

Can anybody share with me your experience please. Been so worried :-(

Some AP really goes from weeks to months. Just be patient, or you can call the embassy to check on your case.

You tourist visa will be cancelled upon release of your K1 Visa.

Con see they put you on AP at the interview. What did they say?

hi Georgia, I did run smooth and the consulate say everything's fine... They didn't require any documents from me too

AP can be anywhere from a few days to a few years and anywhere in between. No one can tell you how long it will take. If anyone does tell you, they will merely be guessing.

Sounds like some background check maybe. If they said everything was fine then hopefully it will go to issued soon

They did said you are approved and you received an email about a 221g without any docs required right?

Tell your USC fiance call the US Embassy. It must be a mixed up; people must have sent you the 221g by mistake.

For me it sounds like she just said she didn't get the 221g? ... I'm confused now

During the interview they didn't give here a 221g; she was told she was approved.

When she got home she received an email for 221g but no document mentioned what she needs to submit.

What do you think?

Didn't see the whole e-mail thing.

Well maybe it's a mistake as you said or they must have found something after the interview they needed to look into, but as the other user said no one can say how long AP will last...

There is no deadline for AP. They use this time to be as thorough as possible.

I've read cases where the interview went well and was told they were approved but during AP something was found.

You are free to follow up but it really has only been two weeks.
