Time to start a Feb 2016 thread for I-130 filers.

I sent it off in Jan, but only the last date. I got e-notice today that my petition is headed to Nebraska. I now await the NOA1 by snail mail.

Well all of it has started.

I will be expecting an RFE, I was impatient and sent off package with a scanned G325A form with husband's signature. I'm making him send the original one he scanned along with another signed in blue ink. The form was filled out on computer. So they are identical.

Now in the process of getting documents I know will be needed for NVC that may take some time. And not to pester the husband for 5 things in short time frame. Keeps them more accommodating when asking for things. Lol

I'm expecting an RFE on something. I don't know what but we must have forgotten something. I have also started looking at the things needed for NVC stage.

Just got e-mail of receipt (NOA1) and case forwarded to Nebraska Service Center. Was hoping for California since I live here, but as others have mentioned it doesn't seem to be based on petitioner's address. Oh well.

The I-130 packet was delivered on 02/02, and the check was cashed late night yesterday or early morning today.

It seems several have been routed through Nebraska lately. My husband and I have a little bet going to see where we land. I'm saying Texas and he's saying Vermont.

RFE - Request For Evidence

It's not a sure thing, but it's been requested before, or it might slip by now and then. Either way, I'm having them on hand from the hubby. It's about the only thing I would need original from him.

I'm thinking over my list also... I don't think I missed anything. I was working on it for months knowing we planned to get married and started organizing. I front loaded, but not too much to be annoying.

PS - frakina, you have 2015 being married and such. I think you might mean 2016?

I hope I get routed to California. I think they've been approving the quickest so far.

California is normally for K1 and DCF. Occasionally, do they send CR1 (non-DCF) to California. Though I would've loved it myself. I'm just happy not to get Vermont or Texas, they are still processing from June from what I understand.
