Had an odd situation two days ago. USCIS received the package which we sent via Express Mail. The check was cashed almost immediately (!!)....then I go up to 16 texts and 16 emails notifying me of receipt with three different MSC numbers....

I called and spoke with a Tier 2 Officer. They assign different numbers to each document eg I-485, I-131 and the EAD application. He told me the GC would take a year LOL.

The EAD and the Travel Doc takes three months....

Let the waiting begin.....

We just mailed out our AOS & EAD yesterday 12/10 via USPS express mail to the Chicago Dearborn Ave address. My wife and daughter are adjusting from a K-3 and K4 Visas so we did not include AP with the packages.

Now we are just waiting for the package to get to USCIS and get our NOAs. Let the journey begin.... again ;-)

Good luck to all :-)

They cashed my checks today, I just checked. Yay.

One year, why? Didn't they say 'up to one year'??? It should be much less, 3 months for interview.

But you're K1, do you still need an interview? Already had at the consulate?

My wife checked the bank accounts today and they cashed the checks...the texts and emails state that once the hard copies of the receipts are received that we will be able to check the status of the paperwork online...if you filled out form 1145 you should receive text and email notifications about your paperwork...glad to have so many people that have filed at the same time as us...hope to continually hear and post good news regarding the process....cheers
