NVC Filers - July 2014

If you think about it, there's plenty of time to work on the AOS form between I-130 approval and case number. People I guess wait until the fee is ready to have a full on panic, I guess. :-D

Well, it's true. I had too much time between NOA2 and getting my case number.

I filled out my AOS form a month after my NOA1 because I thought I was submitting it in 3-4 months after my NOA1.

Well, we all know that wasn't the case thanks to the backlog at the USCIS stage.

The form was covered in dust since it was sitting on my desk for a long time.

Let me tell everyone this. When calling NVC do compliment them and tell them how sorry you are for all the system issues and they are doing a great job. This woman was almost in tears saying "we don't get many compliments. God bless you. You made my day".

I was on hold like 10 minutes no busy that was fun. She was so helpful.

We haven't been able to pay the IV fee yet so I guess we will wait until we can do that to send out the IV package. Today is our 30th business day since the DS-261 was received. :/

I got my IV fee invoice almost two weeks ago. Your 30th business day is today? I thought we had the same timeline?

Oh, you accidentally opened the DS-261 form!? I thought you had to re-submit it to reset the date?

I guess even opening the form can reset the DS-261 date. I hate their buggy system!

We called NVC and talked to infamous Arthur. He was very rude. My wife's checklist reply entered at NVC on June 11th have not been reviewed. It is almost 40 business days. We asked to talk to a supervisor and Arthur's excuse was that as this was shift change time hence he cannot connect us to a supervisor. We were very firm and told him that he was rude and not listening to us.

my wife is going to call NVC tomorrow because they told her my AOS pacakge will be scanned to the system on 21 and you will invoiced IV fee by the 27th of July so far nothing.She even asked for the DS-261 it appears to be completed whethers its accepted or not ? they replied by saying it will be accepted by 21st July :/

i mean seriously why is it taking so long just to scan my AOS Package into their system.I am kind of worried now that it got lost or something :'(

If you call in the evening, Joy and Arthur will be at home exerting their existences upon their families, so you might get lucky and get someone like Gus or Todd (never spoke to Todd but heard he's nice maybe?)

I just called NVC and found out that they approved my AOS package yesterday!

Well, I didn't receive a false checklist so it looks like some people receive false checklists while others don't.

I'm now waiting for them to review my IV package and DS-260. I'll just have to wait until Sept 5th (my 30th business day).

I hope I don't get a checklist on my IV package. I reviewed it so many times! Fingers crossed!

Dance Dance Dance.... Congratulations Austin, so happy for you. We both got our AOS approved yesterday without any real or false checklist. Am so happy for you. Fingers crossed now waiting for our IV package to be reviewed, though mine is not yet scanned in as at yesterday but I'll definitely call on Friday hopefully it would have been scanned in.

Am also waiting to hear good news from Soloenta also. The three of us have almost same timeline, I pray and wish she gets her AOS approved soonest without any checklist. Fingers crossed....

Anyway, we talked to another agent. She gave her name - Reece. She was nice and told that there are two emails of June 10th and two emails of June 11th in their system but none have been reviewed. I told her that it is way over 30 business days. She agreed but told that she can't do anything. She also told that supervisor can't do anything eiether. In the past supervisors were no help as well in resolving the issue of list emails by NVC.

She suggest to call again on Friday and hopefully these files are reviewed by then.

We need some positive vibes and prayers from fellow VJers.

We got no real checklist..thanks to saylins wiki...and thanks to all the VJ members for keep us updated..if i hadnt found VJ, i wouldve gone crazy with all this wait thinking that something was wrong with our case..but im glad everything happend with in a timely manner as compared to many people i see here...
