Good day to all !!! :-)

It's been quite challenging when we are all in the mode of WAITING for our visa to arrive. The anticipation is so great that sometimes we can't take it any longer and feel impatientranting33va.gif .

We sure want to try and understand USEM procedure, but until now that is unknownwacko.png . It varies what the cause or reason for the delay.

Some people received a 221g for missing documents or medical not received during interview cray5ol.gif , some received their approval with no sweat but got an AP statuscrying.gif , some got an "ISSUED" status but still no news ClockWatch2.gif or some received their visa within 4 days from the approval date dancin5hr.gif .

I know it gets frustrating when we thought we are about to receive it but still, days, weeks or even months pass by but still no VISA IN HANDohmy.png .

For the benefit of our fellow VJ's who haven't receive their visa yet, please feel free to share your experience on how you recieved your visaidea9dv.gif .

Few notes though.... no vulgar words please....innocent.gif

From my husband and our kids' experience, they were interviewed on a Friday, visas delivered the next Tuesday (morning). 2 working days. We're in Metro Manila.

Typical timeframe for visa delivery is within 7 to 10 business days. Sometimes a wee bit longer that's why no travel plans should be made until visa is on-hand.

... and I feel you will have your visa before too long.

My wife waited a full two weeks, and that is considered in the "normal" range by what the embassy states.

A few days at this point is harder than the months during the petition process I know... but patience...

... and a few good drinking songs may help.

Try to be specific like start with:

Day 01 Visa Approval date:

Day 02 Status of the Visa from CEAC, USTRAVEDOCS & 2GO

Day 03 and so on .........until you received or collected your visa

I believe through sharing your experience our fellow VJ's will have a better idea about the waiting period.

21 March ... interview ... approved.

Didn't check the CEAC website or pace back and forth, nor continually calling the embassy... we were just patient and waited.

4th of April 2GO called and said they would be delivering the visa.

(this info is in my timeline)

Thanks APPLE21 sure you are one of the blessed who had a short wait.

Thanks Hank, you are the most patient VJ I ever encountered! I've been checking every minute hahahaha.... and yes thank you for sharing the date as other newbies are not aware to check the timeline so it is more helpful to give itemized or detailed information. Most of us are hungry for an easy and quick to find answers. content.gif

My fiancée in Zamboanga City, Mindanao had the following experience:

USEM Interview Tuesday, August 13: 7:30 am. Finished interview at 9:40 am and they told her she passed and to go home and wait for Visa to arrive

CEAC showed "ISSUED" on Wednesday, August 14 end of the day

Fiancee received text message on Saturday morning about 9am, August 17 saying her Passport and Visa documents at 2GO in Zamboanga City. She picked up the Passport and Visa 2 hours later

Now we are worried about the CFO seminar and interview to get sticker to allow her to leave the country. Lately many Filipinas not getting approved there even after having US Visa in hand

Good luck to you and everyone
