Our interview was on June 6th and the visa was delivered to MOA on June 11th. Joan was in Hawaii on June 13th.

I believe if her status says ISSUED, the VISA is already pasted or will be pasted in the passport (I think). You can book her flight now and to be on a safe side choose a date 10 days from the time the status that says Issued? Well it's just a feeling!! But my feelings are always right HAHA.

My fiance booked my flight even before my interview. He's such a man to book without thinking if I can get my passport or not, he's after with the cheap flight ticket! I discouraged him from doing so, but he said just be positive. So now, he got my flight ticket costs $900 and flight is on Sept 1 ;-) Godspeed! I was able to call dahlia yesterday we had a nice talk and she really can't wait!

Aug 8 - Delivered (again no text confirmation because 2GO screwed up inputting my mobile # by 1 digit)

Hi guys, got my visa approved by the consul Aug 15, 2013. Checked my status online August 17 and it says AP, but I received a verbal approval from the consul and the releasing person told me to wait for the visa to be sent on the address that I put.

Should I be worried? Or them putting on AP is just normal since they said everything looks good and I was able to submit all the required documents needed.

If YES... it won't be long it will change to ISSUED..... if you are lucky enough it will be delivered soon.....

As you read from VJ'ers they received it 2-4 working days after approval.... am not one of them yet... lol

Can one fail a CFO? isn't it just a seminar about abuse. As long as you pay attention I can't a 5 question quiz seems easy. How long is the wait to rebook if one fails the quiz?

Does the CEAC website update during business hours Manila time, or business hours US time? We had our interview last Thursday morning (Manila time) and that status of our visas based on CEAC is still "READY".

July 30 - Interview (APPROVED!)

Aug 7 - Ready status on CEAC and case was opened

Aug 16 - Picked up visa at 2GO MOA; (received an email from ustraveldocs.com and an SMS from 2GO at 6:22pm)

Took us 17 calendar days (13 business days) before I got my visa from the approval date. 'Twas frustrating alright. But never did I call US embassy to check on the status of my visa as I believe those people from their call center won't give you reason why you haven't received your visa yet. They will only tell you to wait patiently. (As if we haven't waited long enough) I just religiously checked on CEAC and ustraveldocs.com for the status. We were really b*tching about how slow they process visas 'cos we couldn't book a flight. To think I just live 7-10mins away from the embassy. (But I guess location won't be of help)

I hope you'll get yours anytime this week, dahlia. Keep us posted on your visa status.

Thank you for the encouragement =). Somehow I need to understand the situation more delays will happen. We can't beat or complain about mother nature.....
