I see May filers getting approve. So I think by September we'll be getting some approval.

I hope so... Would be really awesome if my husband got approved before September 23... Just because we are moving to a different state then. I guess I'm just afraid we'll get a RFE automatically once they found out we moved, I think I read somewhere that always happens when you move while you are in the middle of ROC. I kind of doubt he'll get approved before we move, but we can always hope! :P

Got a message from USCIS that:

"On August 19, we transferred this CRI89 PETITION TO REMOVE CONDITIONS OF PERMANENT RESIDENT STATUS RECEIVED to another office for processing because they now have jurisdiction over the case. We sent you a notice of this transfer. Please follow any instructions on this notice. You will be notified by mail when a decision is made, or if the office needs something from you."

I sent my application to VSC on 12-June-2013 and had biometrics on 11-July-2013.

What is USCIS doing ?

Hello June buddies,

I found this chart from another member in May thread about VSC Processing Time http://dashboard.uscis.gov/index.cfm?formtype=15&office=6&charttype=1

You can filter for CSC too.

So based on this link, I have this chart for VSC:

All Other Pending Awaiting customer action Completions Receipts Month & Year 122273 4563 13152 14090 Jan13 119630 5494 15360 13822 Feb13 115397 7373 17727 15313 Mar13 93526 12092 26193 9847 Apr13 97694 8508 19275 20245 May13 91246 8594 20466 14065 Jun13

I think All Other Pending: Cases that haven't been touched. Awaiting Customer Action: Cases waiting on RFE reply. Completions: Approvals. Receipts: Applicants who received their new green cards.

If so then we have the least opened cases Whoohoooooooo!dancin5hr.gifdancin5hr.gifdancin5hr.gifdancin5hr.gifdancin5hr.gifdancin5hr.gifdancin5hr.gifdancin5hr.gifdancin5hr.gifdancin5hr.gif And I think that's correct because we don't have many applicants for June, really! Hope that we all will have great Christmas presents!

Got the exact same message yesterday (August 19). I think it's fine...my local office should be able to handle this better than Vermont can.

Oh wait...mine is different. They didn't transfer mine to CSC...VSC transferred mine to our local office.

On August 19, 2013, we transferred your CRI89, PETITION TO REMOVE CONDITIONS OF PERMANENT RESIDENT STATUS RECEIVED, to your local USCIS Office for further processing. The new office has jurisdiction over your case and will send you a decision as soon as processing is complete or you will be notified if further information or action is needed. If you move, please use our Change of Address online tool to update your case with your new address.

Maybe we're up for an interview then.

For Case transfers, check this link: http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/441796-faq-case-transfers-to-another-service-center/

I am relieved after going through that link.

OK, I read that and I'm not sure where my case is going. According to that link, 'local office' may mean CSC...but it's not clear. Oh well, I'll take this as being good news.

Thanks for that link good.gif

Local office is not CSC, it is a local USCIS office nearest to you, where generally interviews are scheduled. Don't presume that your case is picked for interview, it is just that VSC is overwhelmed.
