Where can I find Alien Registration Number?

Hi Everyone. I am filling the G-325A form and there is a space at the top for file number and the letter A is inscribe there in the block and at the end of the form is also requesting for alien registration number. How do I get that? I am filling the form I downloaded from the VJ website. Is there another website to print out the G-325A form? Plz kindly respond to my inquiry. Thanks.

At this stage you do not have an a number, just write none in that box

You do not currently have an Alien Registration number (A number), assuming you've never had a US visa before. You will get assigned an Alien Reg no. from USCIS once they have your I-129F petition. This will then be your number for the entire process. For the sake of the G-325A biographical form for the I-129F petition, you simply write "N/A" or "NONE".

Also - ALWAYS download the forms directly from www.uscis.gov, to ensure you have the most up to date forms so you get no problems further down the line.

I was the petitioner and did not have an A#. Never have had an A#. It should state that..."only the petitioner MAY have an A#." Natural born USC never get an A#.

My wife came over on a K-1 visa, but her form I-797C has nothing in the space for USCIS alien number.

Should we send in our change of status forms with nothing in that spot? I don't know what to do. I can't find any documents that have an alien registration number.

Did you look where it says "Beneficiary" and theyu is the beneficiary's name and right above that there is a nine digit number that starts with "A"? You can send in your AOS without the A# but it is better if you use the A# so they can find the file.
