Hi am also Pinay. :) Just to encourage you, our petition was sent to the USCIS Aug 21 and we got NOA1 on the same date I guess. Then everyday/week we would check online. You will just be surprised. As one time, me and hubby forgot to check and we were surprised to receive an email telling us we have been approved. That was Nov 26. We just really have to be patient. Pls do check VJs timeline here so you have the idea how and when things work. God bless you on your journey. (L)

I dont think mostly all the October filers have been approved. Of the statistics just from this site (which are a sliver of the actual cases) less than 40% have been approved for October. You can see that here:

http://www.visajourney.com/timeline/monthly_filers.php?form=2&visa=3&scenter=4&option=3&sortby=2

Not even Sept filers are at 50%.

We have the same NOA1 date. If we got an approval now, I would be over the moon but I am in no way expecting it til Jan. And even then, we are lucky lucky lucky!

Dude honestly you need to learn to relax. There are plenty of October filers who have not received approval. I'm one for example. Like it has been said as well, VJ members make up a VERY SMALL percentage of actual filers and visa seekers as well. If you go outside normal processing times, then you can start to get worried, but until then, it would probably be better for you to learn some patience. Normal processing times is 5 months btw. This whole process can take a year or more, so relax! We all want to be with our loved ones but getting worked up at this point is just going to add to your stress.
