Hi everyone,

I would like to hear your opinions about our situation, i am simo and i met my wife almost two years ago on a social website

we became bf and gf in march of 2011 and on december of 2011 we decided to meet and get married, In February of 2011 my wife came

with her mother and we got married we spent two and half months together. we filled ir1-cr1 visa. and on September 28, 2012 we got case

complete at nvc, so now we are waiting for the interview. also we have metioned on a letter explaining our case when we sent our

i-130 packtage that she will come back in september because we thought it would take longer for the interview but it was faster.

so we don't want to waste money now. note: I am 21 years old and my wife is 19 years old we both are students and we are going to

live in her parents home.

here is my question: since my wife came only one time and we got married would that cuz problem to us in the interview?

or does she have to come back again? Her mother does not think it is necessary to come back since we might be together in the usa

in two months.

Thank you all for your help!!!

Wow. You have very understanding in-laws.

I can say that any extra strength that you can give your case would be beneficial. A 2nd trip is definitely NOT a waste of money. Maybe she could come for your interview as well? All told Casablanca is a very difficult Embassy to get through. The economy in Morocco stinks and young men such as yourself have very limited options, which is why they suspect fraud of almost everyone. Your job is to prove them wrong. You do that by showing you have a genuine relationship and that you both work hard to see each other and spend time together.

Maybe other Morocco members can chime in on this?

u cant predict if it will cause a PROBLEM with the interview...What stuck out to me in your post is that your mother in law accompanied your fiancee/wife to Morocco. That should be a PLUS to see her mother is a big part of your relationship. (F)

If it can be afforded, I would definitely have my SO in Morocco with me at the time of the interview. It is beneficial on many levels especially, emotional support.

A short courtship could be an issue but having her mom at the wedding shows family support so this can be good also. In your case I think having her there for the interview could help but she can not go in with you so I don't know how much it would help besides you saying she is out there waiting to the person interviewing you. Just go in with confidence and as much knowledge of your wife's life that you can. If you don't know the answer be honest and say you don't know. Smile and make eye contact with the person doing your interview. Best of luck!!

My mother accompainied me on my second trip in which we were married. BOTH my parents then went back with me on my third trip (6 months after the marriage) in order to be there for the interview (stayed 5 weeks)...the interview wasnt until they had gone back and I STAYED....result...case sent back....Now with that said....I would advice your wife to YES go back for another visit...Sometimes it is the luck of the draw on wether being approved after one visit and marriage...but inorder to help your case, if possible I would encourage her to visit again! I stayed and lived there with my husband for over 1 1/2 year until our case was reaffirmed and another interview....result...APPROVED! It took us 3 years, 2 different petitions, and 5 interviews, 3 trips for me and 2 for mom and one for dad, to prove to them our relationship was real...We have been here in US for 1 year!!!

WOW now thats some persistance and dedication. Bravo for you. And 1 1/2 years is invaluable ya know. I got to live with my husband 6 1/2 months and it really helped and strengthened our marriage. To live day to day and not live like tourist was real and fun (sometimes  ) wouldn't trade it for the world.

Yes, and looking on it now, it was so worth it...but at the time it was hard...the waiting and having someone else determine your life.
