Hello Fellow VJers,

Well, it’s that time of the year where we fasten our seat belts and prepare for the ride to file ROC for those whose green cards are expiring in August 2012.

My wife’s green card expires on 08/14/2012 and our date of application is 05/16/2012.

Well, that USCIS info is something wrong  . Totally inaccurate!

VSC is mainly working on July filers(approval rate 66%) now here in ROC forum monthly thread :) So, still long wait, but not that long!

Good luck May filers

Regrads.

You are correct that W2 don't mention whether you filed individually or jointly. But some employers do mention on w2 (like my previous employer) whether my status was Single or Married.

And there is no harm in providing one also.

We are sending our stuff on, or around May 18th, as it is the first day we can do so. Gotta dust off the cobwebs and get this new process rolling. Can't believe it's almost been 2 years to the date that we were approved...

Looking back at all that Mrs. Knappy and yours truly have accomplished, I can't help but feeling pumped about what's comin' next :D

Positive vibes to all!

My GC expires 05/14/12. I sent my I-751 to the CSC on 04/25 but they only just received it today.

Included:

  • I-751 signed by both my Wife and I
  • $590 payment
  • Copy of GC (front/back)
  • Joint tax returns 2010/2011
  • Copy of joint lease
  • Copy of join renters insurance policy
  • Copies of joint medical insurance cards showing joint policy
  • Copies of joint dental insurance cards showing joint policy
  • Copies of Target Credit Card showing joint account.
  • Utility bills in both names to the same address
  • Copy of AirNZ itinerary from Feb-Mar 2012 trip back to New Zealand
  • Various photos of my Wife and I over the last couple of years.

It doesn't seem like much/enough, so hopefully I'll be ok.
