After a couple of weeks of document gathering, I filed yesterday.

OK, so in my haste to let the world know that I sent in my I-129F, I reported it on a thread for California Service Center filers rather than on a thread for Vermont Service Center filere; since I sent the petition to VSC.

My bad! I'm still happy, anxious and everything else.

It was kind of the same for me. I just felt that I should still be putting more documentation together. Then I got an email from the Post Office telling me that the package was delivered. So now I'm waiting for NOA1.

Ryna, thanks for your wishes. Hope that all goes well for you and that we can hear back on your experience in Bogota, as you are ahead of us.

Apparently, it took only 3 days from the received date for the VSC to begin the I-129F process.

"The I-129F has been received by our office for the following beneficiaries and is in process."

Yippee!!!

Now, does anyone know about the "processing/estimates/stats"? It is below your timeline on VJ?

Mine says..."Based on timeline data, your I129f may be adjudicated between August 30, 2010 and September 19, 2010*."

I am curious about the possibility that this is accurate...and, does "adjudicated" mean the NOA2 date, or what?

Thanks,

Alex

Is anyone else planning on visiting their fiancé(e) in the US before they get confirmation? I bought a return ticket to go see mine at the end of August, will passport control give me a hard time on that?

I plan on visiting my fiance on Aug 20 for 8 weeks. I have my return ticket and a slip from university. I so hope I will get in without problems. I bought the ticket before he even asked me to marry him. I'm so scared that they will send me back home though. I miss my baby.
