He took him to a secondary room to ask another agent if that were true. He was told yes that's how things are done now to "save paper" just stamp the passport. N & B	JFK	2019-01-13	- High	I accompanied my fiancee on the trip to the US. I went on the visa holders line with her and there was no issue with that. The CBP officer asked how long we knew each other. I told him for over 1 year and a half. He asked if my fiancee spoke English, and I replied "no". He admitted her to the US and reminded us to get married before April 12th. No further questions asked. Took less than 10 minutes.	2023-01-03
