Entered the USA at IAD, Washington Dulles. As I was travelling with my fiancee and her daughter from Thailand, I accompanied them in the visitors line at the POE.
We spoke with the Officer at the POE who took some initial information from us and then directed us to the secondary screening area. Officer was very professional and pleasant.
In the secondary room we waited perhaps 30 mins while they reveiwed the packet and visa information. We filled out a declaration form for currency and we were on our way. No questions were asked of my Fiancee at all...the first Officer asked me some basic questions about how long we had known each other and how long I had lived in Thailand her.
The entire process was completed in less than 25 mins start to finish. |
