I accompanied my husband by car. We crossed at the San Ysidro Port of Entry. We waited in traffic about 90 minutes before we got to the front of the line. The officer asked why are we crossing, then sent us to secondary to get the temporary I-551 stamp. We were in secondary for about 30 minutes. Inside they asked my husband the address where he will be living (it had to be changed because I moved in January) and that was about it. It was a relatively smooth process. |
