  1. Yes, she’s inside the US. The I-601 is for fraud and misinterpretation.
  2. My mom’s lawyer submitted I-485 & I-601 concurrently in August. She got an RFE recently asking for evidence of lawful admission, such as I-94. She obviously doesn’t have her I-94 since she entered the US illegally, which is why her lawyer filled I-601. Does anyone know why they are still asking for the I-94 when she submitted the I-601? We have spoken to her lawyer, I just wanted to see if someone who has gone through this knows the answer.
  3. No ours only changed to “Card Was Produced” on August 22 and that’s when I was able to see the delivery on USPS Informed Delivery. The status then changed to “Card Was Delivered To Me By The Post Office” on August 25.
  4. Congrats! We got the approval on August 18 and the card was delivered on August 25. Do you have USPS Informed Delivery?
  5. So you have two actively review notifications. I just got one so it might mean your I-485 might get approved soon.
  6. I hope you get your EAD approval soon. Where did you see the second “your case is being actively reviewed” for the I-485?
  7. Just got the EAD approval letter in the documents tab!!
  8. I have but nothing appears there. I’ve read it could take a couple of days to update.
  9. Received an email yesterday ‘We have taken an action on your case’ but when I check the case status, it hasn’t changed. I asked a live agent today about this and they told me the I-765 got approved and is now waiting in line at the production site. Hopefully he is correct and we will get an update on the case status soon.

  11. Yes, we had the interview on March 2nd.
  12. I had message the NVC again about the invoice number and they sent it to me. You don’t really need it because that website is going to say the same thing as when you log in to the CEAC Visa Status. I think that website (ceac.state.gov/iv) is more for CR1/IR1 so they can upload their documents.
  13. Hi. Since the DS-160 saves the information you put for 30 days we decided to fill it out, but not send it until our case says it’s “ready.” Our case is in “transit” so we are just waiting for it to say “ready” so we can submit it and pay the fee.
  14. I got the NVC Case # after contacting the NVC. I wanted to know if I can go ahead and fill out the DS-160 form and pay for it so I can schedule the interview. Or should I wait until my case says ‘ready’?
