    Our NOA2 was October 14 and the case was reported as received on 11/14 by NVC. When we sent over a request to check the status I was specific in my request that we be provided with the NVC receipt date to give us an idea to when to expect a case #. There's no guarantee they'll provide one because what I've been seeing is for some request it depends on the person that responds to the request.

    My fiance (beneficiary) has a daughter from a previous marriage. We're working to gather the final documents now that we've received our NOA2. What if anything should we provide surrounding his child maintenance agreement that is in place? We've tried various searches but can't find anything specific aside from stating we need notify the court of his intent to immigrate which we did before submitting the K1 Application.

    I'm hoping by mid October we will start seeing approvals come in based in where they are with July cases.

    I know that only the beneficiary can attend the interview. The petitioner if they go would need to wait outside. From what I've read from the various groups/forums most petitionars don't travel for the interview.

    In the July/August K1 face book group someone posted that when trying to expedite they spoke to a USCIS agent that said they expect to be on early August by the 3rd week in September. Based on what we've been seeing so far, I would think mid to late September is reasonable for late July and early August filers for their NOA2s. We're getting closer!
