Applied for TN status on entry at YVR preclearance. Took about 30 minutes. 25 minutes waiting, 5 minutes talking to the CBP officer. Had a few questions about my job. No big deal. |

Make sure you only submit copies of all your important documents. My wife had given the embassy her original birth certificate with the translation, so when we applied for the AoS, we had to have her family apply for another copy. This resulted in an RFE from USCIS. ONLY SUBMIT COPIES AND KEEP THE ORIGINALS!!! |

At Vancouver International Airport’s US Pre-clearance they ask my fianceé and I questions about how we met. All pretty standard but the CBP Officer did give my wife an attitude about not getting the vaccines for the K-1 at first but luckily I told the CBP officer and showed her documentation where it stated that the Vaccines were optional. I told her that my fianceé was going to get the vaccines here in Cali and an approved Doctor was going to complete the vaccine portion of the I-693. After that they let us through. |
