  1. It sure is! I notified the passport agency two weeks after they received my application. We were purchasing a house at the time so I gave them my in-laws' address where it ended up. We did USPS mail forwarding in June, though it didn't affect my passport.
  2. Following up on this thread - the mail forwarding worked. I received my passport last week and got my naturalization certificate back this week, all mailed to the new address. Took 12 weeks overall. Glad to be done for real!! 🤩
  3. Thank you for sharing this. I found this exact snippet last night and called them this morning. They emailed me instructions and another email address to send my address change information. Let's hope that works!
  4. 1. Yes, my SSN card doesn't have any restriction wording on it. 2. I renewed my DL with the certificate of naturalization so it's good for 8 years. 3. Yes, I'll have to update my DL with my new address. I can do this without proof of citizenship. 4. I don't think so - as a LPR I wasn't able to get a DL until the green card was received.
  5. Technically yes, though depending on the timing of the receipt I may have to pay another month of rent and not vacate. Didn't plan on moving so soon, otherwise I would have expedited.
  6. Does anyone know if passports can be forwarded in the mail? I applied at the start of April (no expedite) and will be moving at the end of June. I plan to change my address with USPS a few weeks before the move. Just a bit worried since there's a chance my passport and certificate won't make it to my current address in time.
  7. Status changed to Oath Ceremony Will be Scheduled, exactly a week after the interview! So excited to finally be done with immigration. Good luck to those still waiting!
  8. I had my interview yesterday and it went well. Security initially didn't let my husband in until they saw his name C/O on the letter. We got called in shortly after and the officer said it will be a combo interview. She asked my husband about our relationship. We provided some updated documents from since I applied. Then my husband went back to the waiting room, and she confirmed my N-400 application responses. I passed the test and got the paper saying a decision cannot be made yet due to my pending I-751. She will review everything and send further instructions by mail. We were out in less than an hour. No status updates yet, but I'm hopeful given our evidence and positive interaction.
  9. My FO is also Nashville and they seem to be processing faster than before. I filed N400 in late July and got my interview for mid January, which is just under 6 months. When I filed it was taking 9-10 months.
  10. I got mine scheduled for the same day! Best of luck!
  11. SRC filer update. My I-751 status changed to "Case Transferred And New Office Has Jurisdiction" as of 7/27. I filed for N-400 the day before so this might be a result of that. Waiting on the notice in the mail now.
  12. Hi all, I applied online last night under the 3-year rule. My I-751 has been processing at SRC for almost a year now. Filed online: 7/26 Receipt notice: 7/26 Biometrics reuse: 7/26 Local field office: Nashville, TN
