Super easy, we landed in what seemed to be one of the lesser-used terminals and there was like one person ahead of us in the visitors line. The IO seemed almost bored and asked for his passport and the sealed envelope. He took my fiance's photo and fingerprints and he opened the envelope and stamped a page from the packet. He then stamped the passport next to the visa and wrote the expiration date in the stamp. That was it! We were through immigration in less than ten minutes. |

Other than the super long line at LAX my immigration officer was pleasant. He asked me what was bringing me to the United States and I finally got to answer - "to marry my fiance"
He then asked if he was a US citizen and I handed in the yellow envelope.
He opened it, and it had a copy of our original petition as well as my medical, he just flicked through it and made a few notes. Asked a few questions, like how we met? if we had a wedding date set? What he did for work? and then he smiled and said Congratulations, welcome home! Surreal feeling. |

Agent's system didn't seem to cooperate very well and another agent was showing her how to bypass some of the input entries on her computer. It seemed like it was messy, and it's now come as no surprise that they failed to send the medical docs to USCIS. |
