Some more good news guys.....NVC has started rolling Interview Letters...Latest is a guy with PD Aug 29 2013 received Interview Letter...So a 4 week movement is fixed now....Lets see how many more get Interviews...This time NVC started earlier...Today its just 25 and people started receiving Interviews.....I hope it goes to Oct 2013....

Hey Sam....all is perfect as u organized...However if u can organize people according to their Priority dates..it will be awesome....since the transfer dates are same for all..Arranging the people with their priority dates In ascending order it will be better for all of us to monitor which Priority date person gets approval soon....Thank You

Exactly it says to mine also...that its transferred to St. Albans...Dont know what is that but when we get the actual NOA letter then only we can figure where it is actually....

So i think now they will assign our cases as per our Priority Dates to respective officers and i hope that we hear some good news soon....May be by next month end we should start getting approvals......Do keep posting here guys as any one gets sumthg for their case....

PD Nov 15 2013 got case transfer notice today afternoon.....so we r all on now....

Now to check which service center it got transferred dial customer service number n hear the recording

It will speak that they transferred case to blah blah blah....Do this n u can know which service center our case has been transferred....

Habel finally we r all on... Congrats that our cases got at least some update

Guys also check ur case status page by logging in n it will show Next Steps as they will give ur case to an officer to review....

New week ...New hopes...Lets hope we get some good news friends......Habel...I will be contacting my congressman immediately if there is no forward movement for the processing dates this time USCIS publish.....Do remain in touch ...we are all in the same boat....

Apple21....thank u very much for informing us how to contact our congressman for our cases....Can u tell me if u have any info about who is more effective Congressman or a Senator..???? I have no idea about this......

submitting an email request is not something that will take a year to do and if you follow the link and instructions that @apple21 provided you will find all the info you need to submit your request. For the question about what I have mentioned in my email is I have explained our situation and provided all the info they need in order for them to investigate our case and also there is a form you fill out to give them a permission to access our case when they contact the service center.

It is up to you to follow which ever direction is best for you however,by the looks of it VSC does not look like they are going to start processing petitions beyond September 30.

@Susan,send your husband the link and ask him to follow the options to do both email request and fill out the form so that they can access your case. All the best darling and rather than waiting it is better to act on it now and I think we have Waited enough.

You r right Habel .... I have already checked the details of congressman in my area and will definitely contact him. But I just want to wait for this month to pass and see what processing dates they publish....... n how much the bulletin moves next month coz by this month end we will know how much it moves by members getting interview letters...

If there is no movement with USCIS then I will contact my congressman for sure.......

Do post here by that time what reply u get from your congressman regarding ur case from USCIS.... I hope that u hear some good news for ur case n that u get early approval. This will definitely encourage all of us to go ahead with our congressman

That was too quick from you to send inquiry regarding ur case from congressmen.... But its better to act now rather than waiting.... As far as my case is concerned I m waiting for processing dates to be published...

But if our case is current USCIS hav to approve our petition coz they cannot hold cases if a particular case is current and a visa number is available.... That is not possible..... I think by this month end or next month we should hear sumthg ....

Habel what did u wrote to ur congressman for the inquiry????did they replied ur email that they received ur inquiry???

On the 13th month that we were waiting for the i130 approval, we contacted my husband's congressman for help. Congressman Xavier Becerra's staff called my husband to inform him that they will call USCIS about our case. We got the approval a few days later.

Act now. You can check your congressman's official website on how to reach them.

You are right but USCIS will give the congressman same reply coz the current processing dates r September 30 n that we r within current processing time....

What was the scenario with ur case apple21 ?????

It is a good seeing you in this forum. I am really annoyed and out of words with this unbelievable situation we are in. I just can not believe how can they torture us like this whereas other service centres like CSC approve petitions within 5 month or less. I do not know the best way to tackle this problem because we don't know the demand of petition that was submitted between Aug- Dec 2013. Shall we all create a petitions so that someone in a higher level from the government office can help us? Please guys lets think of a solution to resolve this matter so that we all can get out of this misery. I know patient is important in humans life however, when it is too much it is not good. Please lord almighty answer our prayers and take us out of this ridiculous service centre. :no:

Habel....i dont think creating any petitions will make any difference to Vermont....Only we have to wait until they publish new processing dates which i am eagerly waiting for...If still it says September 30 then i will be really upset now.....every day i check to see if they update the processing dates but still its as per March 6...so now i think next week.....

But still i have a concern that if our Priority date is current and they wont approve our petitions then what...????

What to do in this case....Is any body here to answer this question....Is anyone filing with help of a lawyer then do ask them this question.......

Coz if a visa number is available and still our files are with USCIS at that stage what would they do...?????

I did called USCIS and was told same answer that they have backlog and r currently processing petitions before September 30..... I asked what if my priority date is current and still there is no approval ..??? The representative replied that may be after the priority date become current then I receive an approval .....I asked what if still I don't get an approval n she told that I will have to wait until they approve ..... I think we will have to take help from our congressman or senator regarding this ......coz as per reply from USCIS representative it seems to me that even our priority date is current they may or may not approve our cases...??? Do u think this can happen... I haven't seen this before

My PD is Nov 2013 too and still after 1 year and 4 months waiting for an approval like an idiot.....and that also for getting delayed not for my mistake but for the fault of USCIS......Makes me feel so down ....Even if they approve our cases after our PDs getting current we all will be still late as compared to others...coz at that time we would be starting our cases at NVC which takes 2-4 months to complete a particular case for Interview scheduling....

Actually we all should have case complete by now and waiting for Interview schedule just as our PD is current...Instead we r waiting for the first step to complete.......This is not just done with USCIS........This is unfair from Vermont ....Why i dont understand they r not processing petitions after Sep 30 2013....when they even know that its just 2 -3 months away for the visa bulletin to cross Nov 2013...They should understand all this....

Not trying to rub anything in folks, but we were processed in 49 days in Vermont. I would think it isn't Vermont necessarily, but your case. I'd be demanding some answers/writing some congress folks.

You were processed coz ur petition is under IR1 for which the processing time is 5 months since months for VSC where as for us it is more than a year now and still there is nuthin going.... Our PD would be current in less than 5 months and still these people dont know what to do???

I thought that the processing times posted in this month would advance atleast to Nov 1 2013 but now its still same date.... What are they doing i cant understand....All the other centers have 5 months but still VSC is stuck at Sep 30 2013 is sumthg really disturbing for all F2A guys...

Good news to everyone and thank God it moved by six weeks however, I have a question as VB is now advanced to Jun 22 we still have not heard anything from VSC in regards to our petition . What advice do you guys give us it is now only five month left until our PD becomes current yet we have not even started the NVC process.

Habel I m in same situation as you... It's really very frustrating at this point that we r just 5 months away from becoming current yet our petitions r not even touched. But USCIS has not yet released USCIS processing times so I have a slight hope that at least they move from September 30 2013 to May be October or November..... May be within this week we will know the processing dates... Just keeping my hopes a bit high...

Same here Habel... I'm too a November filer and we both have close PD.... I m too waiting since a year now.... No luck... Seems that may be coming months we see some positive attitude from VSC.... Reason is that this month they moved 7 days in their processing time ... So may be this is positive for us.... And we November filers r 6 months away from being current but October filers r just 5 months away now ... And VB being on May 8 is moving 3 weeks every month. So at least they hav to process October filers in this month coz after approval NVC stage is 4-5 months so they should process October filers in this month ... I'm just assuming.... Hope we get good news soon.....Be in touch if u hear anything about ur case

I completely agree. My PD is about a month after yours. Same boat - NOA 1 received and it hasn't been touched since. Applicants with CSC will not get how many in VSC feel. At least the fact that you've even reached the NVC stage means your application is moving. It's one less thing for you to worry about once the priority date gets closer to being current. Whereas, for the past year, I have seen no movement, no news, no updates and no peace wondering when the application will move. My honest feeling and personal prediction (based on current movement) is that:

1. The priority date will reach December 2013 around the September 2015 visa bulletin.

2. A lot of us who are stuck with VSC will start seeing approvals in the next 2 months.

2.a. My basis for this is that (again personal opinion) as the visa bulletin comes within a 4-6 month gap of one's priority date, the VSC will start approving and sending out NOA 2s

3. After May's Visa Bulletin - There may be about a one month skip in the bulletin - I actually used a prior year's VB to estimate this

Again those are my personal feelings on what "may" happen and in no way represents any factual evidence or definite progress towards our journeys.

I can only pray that at the end of this journey, we live humbly and wake up thankful for each day as only we know individually the struggle and challenge of being apart and facing each day. I for one, always dream about the moment my wife will walk through the gates for the first time as a permanent resident and that I'll be walking right beside her.

But until the June VB, seems like the movement will be at an average 2-4 weeks. Good luck to all and please - August to December filers, please post when you receive your NOA2s, especially those who are stuck with VSC!

I totally agree with you Munafn....I hope ur prediction comes true...I am a November 2013 filer and i got a feeling that may be by next month we could see some movement in VSC processing dates...since they moved from Sep 23 to Sep 30 2013 as posted yesterday.

I am about 6 months from becoming current and my petition is still stuck at VSC...so if they move 3 weeks or 4 weeks for next few months definitely we will be closer to become current. In this case VSC has to process the files pending coz Oct 2013 filers are within the 6 month period from becoming current. So i think next month we could see something happening......Best luck to all who are stuck .....

Seems a 3 week movement yet again....Dont know whats going on at NVC.... Even though they dont have much cases why they are moving very slowly...???????

Before they moved straight away 8 months to Jan 2013 and from there on just sliding like a cart......2 quarters are almost gone in this fiscal and there seems to be no big movement for F2A unlike previous movement like 6 weeks or 8 weeks.....

On the other hand VSC also is frozen with Sep 2013 filers, since more than a year they arent moving the Processing times ahead.....My petition is still pending since more than a year......Nuthing seems to be going my way right now....

Since the member of our group jondoe with PD September 26 2013 got his approval today has given me a little hope as I think they r working on applications after September 23, Lets see how much they process in this month
