Did they took ur email id ??? Coz when I asked them on Friday they told they can't do at that time.. If today its possible then I will also give mine
Also r u able to pay fees n ds261 today??
Update if any one can go thru
-
Thanks Munafn... Yeah next week I will provide NVC my n the beneficiary email address... I asked them yesterday but the lady told they r still inputting information so right now she can't do any thing...and told me to call next week
-
Me too....Munafn... Same thing on my page also....for AOS fees it's not invoiced n for DS-261 it says the page you r trying to access is not eligible for further processing at NVC at this time....
One question regarding DS-261 submission, when logging in which option do we select to fill DS-261..???
Applicant or petitioner coz DS261 should be submitted by applicant....And Ito speed up process mostly petitioners fill that form in place of beneficiary but which option to select??
-
First, They want original signature on form I-864A from ur parents...not photocopy ..if u submitted photocopies
Secondly If u live with ur Mom and Dad and they are co-sponsoring ur husband then they both have to file I-864A...Ur dad too has to file I-864A not I-864 coz u all r in same household....
Regarding ur mother if ur dad filed married jointly with ur mother on his tax returns then ur mom's name will be on form 1040, thereform if she too is working then she also has to fill I-864A and submit her 1040, W2 etc....
What exactly is written in 221G letter...coz there is no option for the main sponsor to sign that form...only the co-sponsor has to sign the form.....
-
One more thing ...since u get ur Case number it is advisable to type or print the Case Number on upper right corner of all pages of ur documents for the AOS and IV Package.....I read this info somewhere earlier...But not sure is this helpful or not....
Coz all documents means I-864 and all supporting docs as well as copies of birth certificate, marriage certificate, Passport, PCC...etc....
Do u guys have any info about this
-
Where r others members...??? Habel, Sam1986, SusDan, Petareno, Ahmedtazzi......Call NVC to get ur Cae Numbers guys....Our NVC journey has started ...
-
Munafn is correct...Arrow dont wait for Monday and call them now....U will get ur Case Number and IIN today itself...
On monday if everythggoes good then without their notification we could login and go ahead to send DS-261 and pay fees....
No waste of time is allowed at NVC stage....
-
Ok thanks for the info
-
U r Welcome....But are u able to log in Munafn..???? Coz i am not .....able to log in....
-
U can get urs too but u have to constantly keep mugging until u get thru the representative...The lady told me that this afternoon only they entered the info in their system so may be i cannot access right now and asked me to call middle of next week to get everything....But at least most of us should get their Case Numbers and IIN today if u get thru the representative....Good Luck all
-
Guysss just got my Case Number....and IIN over phone...The lady on phone told that they entered the info this afternoon....I asked can i send my DS-261 right now and add my email address to my case but she told me that she cannot do right now coz they added all the info this afternoon n probably advised me to call next week in the middle so that i can give them the information ....But i cant log in my account right now as the system is not allowing me.... Will try after some time or tomorrow....

"We finally got our case number and were able to fill the DS-261. It now shows "Complete"
There is a "PAY NOW" button for both the IV and the AOS fee. It takes me to a next page where I can check a box for the IV fee, but once I click on the "PAY SELECTED FEES" button, the total amount resets and nothing happens.
Does that mean I have to wait a while after filling the DS-261? Would calling them speed things up a little?

Guys...Just a question regarding AOS documents...
Since we have to send AOS documents along with the IV package after paying the AOS fees, if we include Tax Transcript and 1040, do we have to include W2 also or not..???
I have read in a lot of threads that if u r including Tax Return Transcript along with 1040 then W2 is not required...And if we send all three then could that trigger a checklist..????
Here's what i have for my Package:
- Barcoded DOCUMENT COVER SHEET for Form I-864
- Form I-864 Affidavit of Support (Filled, Signed and dated)
- IRS Tax Transcript for the year 2014
- Form 1040EZ for the year 2014
- W2s for the year 2014
- IRS Tax Transcript for the year 2013
- Form 1040 for the year 2013
- W2s for the year 2013
- Letter from Current Employment
- Pay stub(s) of most recent three months from current employment
- Copy of my Permanent Resident Card
Now here is one more question, I became Permanent Resident in 2013, so i only have Tax Documents of 2013 and 2014....And for year 2013 my income was below 5000$ but in year 2014 it was above 30000...and currently too i am having a good job..
So i will submit tax docs for 2013 and 2014 ...Now since i dont have tax documents for 2012 do i have to include a joint sponsor for that???
Is it mandatory to submit tax docs from past 3 years...coz i immigrated in 2013 so obviously i cant have tax returns of year 2012....
Regarding income in 2013 it was below poverty line but in 2014 and at present it is above the poverty line, so will i need a joint sponsor ????
-
Thanks for the reply....Very much appreciated
-
Thanks very much nilx25... So what I can do is send the entire package without PCC and then call them to say that PCC will be submitted by beneficiary during interview....
Did u do the same thing ?????
-
R u sure?? Coz no PCC will trigger a checklist and that will cause another 40 days delay.... Looking at vb I think I might be current by August...
Did u do same thing with ur case..???
-
I have a question...hope u guys can answer...
With the AOS and IV package to be sent together...do we have to submit copy of PCC also...?? or can we directly submit PCC at Consulate during Interview..?
Reason is in our country without Interview letter or checklist they dont issue a PCC.....So if i start the process to obtain PCC once i receive Welcome letter from NVC it will take approx. 7-10 days for the beneficiary to get PCC..And if i pay AOS fees, that can be done within 2-3 days...SO i will have to unnecessarily wait for about 10 days just for the PCC...I have rest all docs needed......i dont want my case to get delayed
Any comments frds....My country is India
-
Well done Friends...... I think within 2 weeks we will get our Case Numbers...
-
I am preparing for the AOS and IV docs now since my case is at NVC...Just want to know at which address should i send all the documents once i pay AOS fees ????
On their website it states:
Method 3: Mail processingIf neither Method 1: Email processing nor Method 2: Choice of processing applies to your case, mail your financial forms and evidence, supporting documents, translations, and photocopies, with the Document Cover Sheet included with your NVC Welcome Letter, to the following address:
National Visa Center
Attn: DR
31 Rochester Ave. Suite 100
Portsmouth, NH 03801-2914Is it the above address or the address printed on Barcode Cover sheet generated after paying AOS fee ..???
Comments highly appreciated
Thank you

Congrats Dew_Drops and by reading your instruction I called them however, they told me the same answer by saying I have to wait the 35 days mark. I explained to the guy that a friend of mine who has got approved from the same service center around the same time as mine got told that NVC received his case, he said that person must be lucky to jump the queue and he told me to ring next week. I will try maybe end of next week and hopefully by then I will get the answer I am looking for. Thanks for your update and please let us know your progress in this process. We are nearly there in God's will.
Yeah...Just don't stop calling them and just give it a shot every day when u get time....they will tell u if ur case is received or not......
So now i will call next week to get my case number and IIN....Hopefully by next friday they create my case .....
One more thing...once u know ur case number and IIN give them ur email address even though u submitted form G1145 with ur I-130 for email notification.....And the beneficiary's email too....its just to get things done pretty fast...Good luck....
-
Sure keep it up.... U r just there... All the bestMany Thanks Dew_DrOpS for giving us moral and we hope to get it soon.
