      Incha'allah, you'll be together soon! I was talking to my lawyer today and he shared with me that evidently the Pakistan US consulate is pretty tough because it's a high fraud post... and your case may have gone through some extra checking since (I see that) you're in CLT. Evidently on this side of the state there have been recent problems with fraud rings (I'm in Asheville, but my immigration lawyer is in CLT about 1-2 times a week), and Paki is one of the countries...

      hanks for that info.. i did some research but it all seems to be fraud rings with ppl from mexico and puerto rico and another place but no where near pakistan and nothing about pakistan in the things ive found. However, pakistan, morocco and other countries do have high fraud on their side before immigration.

    what a depressing Christmas season this has been ... my husband still isn't out of ap and my dog of 13 yrs has passed away today :( my heart aches for them both!!!!

    As this Christmas day comes.. I wish everyone a blessed holiday.. those of us that aren't reunited together may we bathe in the knowledge that our love is strong and faithful and that we can endure this process... Maybe we won't get our visa before Christmas.. maybe not in January but Allah hear our prayers our marriage is strong and we will continue to grow in our love no matter how long we have to wait...

    It's so frustrating ... it took us about 5 weeks after submitting docs after interview for them to say our case was now fine and he would have to do the background checks... that's where we've been since the end of july... 6 months today waiting .. thats all we can do.. inshallah we will get thru this...

      You know the positive and at the same time disappointing thing is, APs this long are part of the routin , specially with the states and Pakistan relations not going as smoothly as expected,I know you've been waiting for a long time, but at least it's not because there is anything wrong

    Idk really.. i recently read that a CO told a beneficiary in oct that 50% is done within a month the majority within 6 months and only a few that last longer

    aww i know you miss your wife... my husband is still in ap in pakistan so we aren't together yet either...and if your wife joins you at the embassy that shouldn't be a problem good luck

      nvc assigne the case nbr after that my told me that 404usd more has deposite to nvc its ok but they should thing about the urgent handling case fee many people will be ready to paying them sorry my wife is very sad for me and i tooooooooooo
