i noticed you were from Atlanta GA...that is also where i have family...just wondered which visa you were applying and how things went...any advice you can give me and my husband would be great...Allah Hafiz... -
i'm adil's wife and I totally understand...we planned our wedding for 6 months and spent the most wonderful 12 days together ...now it feels as if our life is on hold for approval ;( Good luck to both of you...you only filed a month or so later than we did so we will keep praying we get the visa within a year from beginning

this is getting so hard
while im happy for others getting approval its difficult when you file before them but you can't see your info anywehre on the uscis website or on the automated phone system im starting to be so sad...i just want my hsuband here for our first anniversary and now with the california stuff omg will that back evthing up too?? and be that much longer? ;( ALLAH HELP... -

lol he may not care about the day but he loves you...i know i feel the same i get discouraged when i see that others get it but we are both doing it the right way so there arent any issues later...just stay positive...maybe this week u will see ur letter

yeah dear dont worry...it seems like so long now but if done rite way then we have lifetime of happiness...INSHALLAH soon we both hear approval from i 130 then work on the next step...

yeah i know and ive seen ppl do things diff like going around the system to come earlier but i want to do things rite so that we have a lifetime instead of taking the chance of having him deported so ill take 8 months...but my heart breaking little by little just to see him again in real

Yeah...us too...seems like that one will take a longer time ;( Ive read so many threads about it and it seems it may take us about 3-4 more months to hear something...but only silver lining is bcos im us citizen he gets immediate priority date...doesnt have to wait for visa to come in line to get the process moving faster. But that's it.. ;( still will take about 8 months for us to be a fam...

yeah we have the first NOA1 the one that says our petition is only accepted and gives priority date but nothing as far as the NOA2 offical approval yet...just the i797C form...that's all....what about u?

InshALLAH and for you too!!! We didn't get the update on the website but we did call the USCIS and they said it was a good case and has been sent..they said the system is not working properly so at least we know for sure we have the right receipt number and so far things are going accordingly...

Got our first receipt from USCIS now just waiting on the California processing center for approval!!! INSHALLAH we won't be separated too long!!!
