Yes, she will be able to get back in with expired GC and NOA1.
Do you have the NOA1 in hand? I received the NOA1 in 7 days including the weekend after I mailed in my i-751 using regular USPS mail.
-
I would call them early in the morning! I would also make an appointment using infopass now. Need to work both at the same time. You need the NOA1 to get back in to the U.S. with an expired Green Card. Almost everyone gets the NOA1 within 4 days.
I think this is important enough even if spending a whole day on the phone. Or you wil be spending a day at the airport if they let your wife enter or IF the airline will allow your wife on the plane. Airlines do not want to fly you back for free if you are not allowed to enter the U.S.

I just walk-in 2 days after my appointment this morning.
I would reschedule if you can.

Walk-in worked at the El Monte office!
We told the guard what happened and he let us in. Took about 1 hour and 40 minutes.
They seem to have a process in dealing with mis-appointments. A girl behind us missed her appointment from 1 week ago.

Thanks! We got it done this morning via walk-in at the El Monte office. We told the guard what happened and he let us in. Took about 1 hour and 40 minutes.

Sorry to hear that Mike. Call them tomorrow and tell them the truth that you just found it between your mail. I am sure that they will reschedule it. It happens don't worry too much about it. But do tell the truth they will be understanding.

I missed the appointment because I didn't know I had the mail. Found it tonight and it was for the 27th. It's for the El Monte office. Can I walk in tomorrow? Thanks!

I missed the biometric appointment! What to do now? It was for 27th at El Monte.
I found the appointment letter between some flyers.
12/30/2014 NOA1 and still no biometric appointment letter.
I will have to call them tomorrow morning to check if my file felt behind a desk or something.

$5 cash in passport is a must! Definitely for your caucasian husband.
Take everything out of box like you are the user and not like gifts OR they will tax the ####### out of you. You will learn in the future when you have to eat the cost on bring things for others.
I got stopped for 10 minutes with 3 agents on me talking to each other. My friend came up and put $5 in my passport and the BS ended immediately.
Pride will just waste your time. I was surprised on how bold they were.

1) I have never heard people cashing out their retirement money from China. China is similar to the rest of the world where spending is more than revenue.
2) Tell her to find out from current and former co-workers and not announce to everyone at work. There are many darker policies depending on the company type. Government work is usually the worse and different from company to company.
3) She can retire then leave and the company doesn't have to know she left the country.
My wife lost all the money in her retirement account when she came here in 2011. To keep that money takes months of preparing, planning, keeping things secret.
Most poeple I know don't tell work they are leaving the country unless they have to. My wife's work had to sign off and release her passport.
-
You got her by the balls! She needs you to stay.
I met groups of girls like that in the Monterey Park area attending ELAC. The good old days...

That is some stupid employee! I would get the manager and stop talking to the fool. Total BS.
I know people getting more than a join account with a foreign passport. I added my wife to my accounts at BofA, Wellsfargo, with credit unions with a Chinese passport.

There's no withdrawing the sponsorship if you already have the GC. Sponsor and co-sponsor are hooked until you abandon your permanent residentship or become a citizen - meaning the Govt can sue them to collect its money back if you apply for welfare benefits.
As for the specifics about unemployment, what Harpa said.
I found out there are non-profits in San Francisco that teaches and helps new immigrants get on welfare programs. Tons of these people are on state welfare programs and the sponsors don't even know. I could not find one case of where the sponsors are requested to pay back to the government. It's a BS document because no political hack will dear to enforce it.

Intel hired tons of Indians with degrees from India. I'm not sure if your Bangladesh degree is recognized by the U.S. Try Intel!

Don't worry, it's before mortgage.

QQ has no security! Anyone can go online and ask to reset a QQ account password and tell them you forgot. When they ask you for extra information to prove who you are, just say you don't have it and they will reset your password.

Mail your call records to NVC and bring to interview.
I printed my home phone record and had my wife printed her home and cell phone records. I highlighted the calls I made and the calls she received. You do have records, just not with your number. We had 30 pages and all highlighted with the corresponding time to show all my calls.

I want to take a vacation to UK and France with my wife (holding Chinese passport and U.S. Green Card)
I know she needs visas from UK and France(EU). Anyone have experience dealing with those consulates? Time it takes to get a visa? Thanks!

The joint sponsor must reach the 125% income requirement alone. You cannot combine your income with that of a joint sponsor to meet the income requirement.

My wife and I are going to take a vacation with the NOA1 and expired Green card soon. Our i-571 was submitted late December.
How much time do you get to respond to a RFE ? Thanks!
