I am confused about the Packet 3 to send with DS-230.
Is this the GUZ IV I-130 Supplemental Packet 3 on the NVC EP page which is 1 page OR the IV Instruction Packet (“Packet 3”) on the Guangzhou consulate's website http://guangzhou.usembassy-china.org.cn/forms_and_packets.htm with OF-169?
I am optin EP at Guangzhou.
I am waiting for GZO to send i-864 and working on the DS-230 packet now.
My DS-230 packet:
1. DS-230 Part 1 signed and DS-230 Part 2 NOT signed
2. Cover letter from IV receipt page (from payment portal)
3. Scan of Applicant's Passport (Biographic Data Page).
4. Scan of Applicant's Birth Certificate.
5. Scan of Certificate of Marriage
6. Scan of Applicant's Police Certificate.
7. Scan of 2 passport photos in 300 dpi of beneficiary (write NVC case #, name and D.O.B written on back of both for interview).
8. Packet 3 supplemental ???
Extras
9. 20 photos taken since i-130 submission (4 to a page; 2nd trip).
10. Google voice phone call logs since i-130 submission.
11. IM logs with showing time for webcam since i-130 submission.
12. Petitioner airline ticket stubs since i-130 submission.
13. new Evolution of Relationship letter (I have seen people suggesting not to send this?)
Am I missing anything? Thanks!

1. I received the AOS invoice this morning.
2. OPTIN e-mail sent from Partitioner's e-mail.
3. OPTIN e-mail again from Partitioner's e-mail. (Forgot to attached the DS-3032)
4. I paid the AOS bill of $88 online. Printed the receipt and Coversheet to PDF.
The status of the payment is still IN PROCESS
5. I-864 READY to be sent from Beneficiary's e-mail - signed with Coversheet in front, 3-year IRS transcripts and 6-month paystubs. Waiting for GZO number??
Do #5 after receiving GZO# ?
When can I expect the IV Fee Bill to arrive?

Hi friends!
I finally got the GUZ number from the NVC. Took 29 days!
Can you take a look at my summarized coming up steps? Thanks for your time!
1. Call NVC to give my and wife's e-mail addresses and ask for the AOS Fee Bill and DS-3032 via e-mail.
2. pay the AOS Fee Bill online; wait for receipt
3. Wait for IIN
4. NVC OPTIN e-mail from wife
5. e-mail DS-3032 electronic request (not scan) from wife
6. pay Affidavit of Support (AOS) fee bill; wait for receipt
7. e-mail in I-864 and support docs from wife
8. pay IV fee bill; wait for receipt
9. e-mail in DS-230 from wife
I found the use of NVCINQUIRY@state.gov and NVCElectronic@state.gov in different postings. Which one is correct?
Thanks for your help!

My wife just called worrying about rumors of immigration pause for 2 years!
My wife and her family heard the news from different sources.
Sounds total BS to me, but want to ping the experts here to make sure! Any truth to this?

Just use the thin cardboard 9.5" x 12' envelope at the post office. They are going to throw your folder away. A waste of money and effort.
-
I think you need to make $27,937 for a household of 4 people (you + wife + dad + Mom) since you claimed your parents as dependents in 2010.
Best to get your brother to help.

That is awesome! I checked mine.. nothing new...

I have a question concerning Vaccination Requirements.
I found out my wife only had a few vaccinations when she was a child.
What happens when she is pregnant and goes to medical exam and needs vaccinations? Will this delay everything?
What vaccinations are required for people coming from China?

If the place where the marriage took place recognizes the marriage as valid, then it should be considered valid here in the U.S. You just have to submit other things to prove your marriage.
What do you mean by "Currently no muslim marriage is registerable with government."? Marriage is a marriage. Just fill out whatever form your government wants to get the marriage license if necessary.

I'm helping a friend with his I-864. His income isn't that much higher than the minimum. Around $31K to sponsor his wife.
He is submitting all 3 years of IRS transcript and 1040 of 2010. No W2s because he is self-employed. What else should he also include?
-
Don't tell him if you are going to withdrawal your I-864! Do it then tell him what you did!
It is sad to go through so much and now have to end it. He maybe expecting much more than what your situation offers. Many foreigners expect all U.S. cities like Los Angeles and being able to get a job with decent pay quickly.

Put "mm-yyyy" and "Present" on the line.

This will help!

You get the price, a name , and sounds like you do get the results from the doctor.

Your girlfriend is 50% older than you! Good for you!
You can get marry in most parts of the world at age 16. Some may require your parents to be there.

Your friend needs to call USCIS and report her with what ever evidence he has. I don't think it will take much to start and investigation on the ex-wife. Her 2 year conditional visa will change to 6 months where she will need to renewal every 6 months until the investigation ends. She will not be able to leave the country or she won't be able to return.
This is happening a girl I know. Husband was not good and told her to stay or he will call USCIS. She walked and he called. She's on that 6 month renewal for 3 years now. I don't think USCIS will do more since no evidence. But she did have to hire a lawyer and no international trips. She was from Japan.

I checked Other and wrote i-130 on the line on both forms. Hope I did it right!
-
Your friend needs to make $16,500 to be able to sponsor your wife. That's assuming his household size is 1 right now. That's around 35 hours a week at $10 an hour. I would say NO!
Can you get one more person to help?

I read all I can about EP on here and on the state.gov, but still not sure at what stage can I enroll in EP! Can I use EP to submit my i-130? Sounds like I can only do it later in the process because they are talking about a case number change.
I should continue my i-130 submission then enroll in EP later? Thanks!
4,5,6 - photocopies
13 - originals
If you use EP at NVC -
Chinese documents will be scanned in by you, sent via email during NVC processing, then originals must be shown on interview day.
If not use EP at NVC (paper processing only) -
Orignal Chinese documents will be sent in.
Interview day, bring all originals of things sent to USCIS that were submitted as copies.
errata - if you 'home' your account to China, by selecting beneficiary country to China - your posts will show up in the china portal , other China experts can see/respond quickly.

I'll be reading tonight! Thanks!
I-485. No.
Bubba, you better figure this out, soonish. Click 'Guides' at the top of this page, read all, pick a suitable guide (there's a test, later, aye?)
-
Thanks for links! I see the difference! I will pursue CR-1 to get my wife here.
I see the I-130 package and the I-485 package. Do I mail both packages at the same time?
CR1 is just like K-3
No, actually, they're not so similar.
Please check the 2 links in my prior post.
-
CR1 is just like K-3, but without sending in the i-129F?
Looks like adding a cover letter with table of contents?
In my opinion The best way is CR1 visa. You'll save money and less hassle plus the time frame is the same. It used to be that the I-129F was approved way faster but that is no longer the case.

Wow! Sorry to hear! They start calling random people asking about your marriage is ridiculous! There’s 1.2 billion people over there!
What is the age difference between you and your husband? How much evidence did you provide USCIS during initial application?
I would contact your two senators, house reps, and others if possible! Good luck!
we needed your help/advice who are completed with their CR1-
in IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Process & Procedures
