It is rude to make noise. It is rude to let your baby scream. Your baby can be happy and be quiet. We all have to live together.

I dont think your neighbor is a racist. She just doesnt like noise. I dont like those loud motorbikes too, but I just have to live with it, otherwise I would have to isolate myself in the wilderness if I could not tolerate them. :-) I have a 17 mons old baby. Sometimes, he wakes up in the middle of the night screaming for "baba" but Id rush to the windows and close it so he wont wake up the neighbors but I know there are times that even if the windows are close, the neighbors maybe still hear him. Im just probably lucky that our neighbors arent like yours. :-)
Btw, your baby is beautiful. If ur husband decides to accept a job offer in albany, and u want to make friends let me know. :-) wla me filipino friend dto. (Kung gusto mo lng hehe...:-) )

You don't have a racist neighbor, trust me you'll know when you have one. You have a neighbor that wants peace and quiet or has a low threshhold for noise. I'm a motorcyclist also (I only ride Ducatis sports bike) and I always have high performance pipes on my bike. I try to be conscious of others (not saying that you Guys are not) especially when I get close to home and just idle in 1/2 gears.
By the way if you think you will escape this issue by moving to another area, you're wrong, unless your Husband is going to be buying a remote farmhouse somewhere then you will still have neighbors to deal with.
PS: I have had a racist skinhead neighbor, he didn't close his windows , etc, he came over to tell me that he didn't want my types in his neighborhood adn did everything to make my pursuit of happiness hard but I overcame and he was the one to leave.

She is racist because she doesn't want to have her day ruined by a screaming baby that she is in no way related to? Wow, count me in then, I hate it when people have no respect for their neighbours and imagine their child could do no wrong.

But of course you have to respond, that's the only way you get to "play the game" of dysfunction.
Why can't you just let it be, she's said her piece so move along. She'll either come around in time or not but that won't be as a result of anything you write to her.

Dude, you are 45 years old - you need to grow a set and be forthcoming about this with your family. She faced the music how long ago and told her parents that she was going to marry a man almost twice her age and go live in some foreign country with him. He just so happens to be divorced and has children - what a catch! This chick is now your wife, who is knocked-up with your kid. If you don't have the cojones to be a man and face your family with this news, your wife has every right to drop your azz like a hot potato from shame. You don't man-up now, she might not be dropping trou' until frickin' Easter or beyond.

this is too coincidental, my sister in law just came here last May and she is a graduate of Hotel and Restaurant Management from St. Paul University, MANILA. She is now working for Crowne Plaza hotel in Anaheim as a Guest Service Rep. I asked her if it was an issue when she applied for the job that she graduated from the philippines. She said, they read her resume and asked for her original transcripts and then they made a copy of it and that's it...she got the job.
in my opinion, the school accreditation and transfer of credits is only needed if you will be going back to school...
the job where I am in now. i wrote in my application that I had a B.A. degree and they just asked for proof. i even gave them a copy not a certified true copy...

The OP had a question. Wether it is his first second or third petition is no ones business but his alone, neither is the age difference or where he chooses to find a partner. Those are his choices. It was not him who was sarcastic but he received a sarcastic response with all the little hateful emoticons and critical remarks which was highly uncalled for. I would also withdraw versus letting it expire and include the reasons in a short letter.There are good people here you just have to weed the noise out. So sorry for your pain.
