My parents, plus brother and sister do not have or use Facebook. (Imagine!) And I have not seen my parents since March 2010. (Big big fallout because of my ex using their naivete to further search my house plus cause other issues.) I haven't seen my brother since grandfather's funeral about 2004/5. I haven't seen my sister since 2008. My family lives in Ohio (my parents are buying a house close to my sister now. My brother had bought a house close to my parents home in Indiana.) and Indiana plus Pennsylvanian. I live in Arizona. I only have one relative living in the same area as me.

My brother is a pastoral Graduate of Bob Jones University. My folks are very much Fundamental Baptists as well as my brother's and sister's family. I am not a "died in the wool" baptist. I was raised differently when I was young. (almost pentecostal because of the church my parents went to at the time) Now I am married to a Roman Catholic??? *plus my grandmother on my dad's side was Lutheran/Catholic) ouch... talk about family issues. then add in I am married to my daughter? (a girl less then half my age.) Plus nearly 14 years younger then my younger brother (and my younger brother is 12 years younger then me?) these are traits from a large, large family with almost a dozen children or more. My folks already told me when I was talking to a Moldovan girl, told me they would not accept the Moldovan girl. soooooooo......

Pro-tip: Don't bring your wife along at first if your immediate family isn't going to accept her. She hasn't done anything wrong (nor have you). Don't put her in any pressure or dramatized family situation.

Wait, wait. Search your house? What were you supposedly hiding in there? A meth lab? Endangered animals?

Pre-tip #2 - make sure you bring 6 dozen exlax-imbued brownies for dessert. Whilst they might be upset with you for bringing her along and springing it on them durin a holiday - they certainly won't be around much to fuss.

Extra Toilet Paper optional, of course.

1) Christmas is with the cousins. NOT with close family. i get along better with the extended family then my immediate family. I am not taking her to the wolves den. the wolves den is in Ohio/Indiana not Arizona. My cousin Bob is a re-married man with a wife a dozen years younger then him. This is a way for Gretchen to meet the family without the fear of parents. This is like going to your Uncle's house because you know you can't go home... if you go home, you get a "whippin"

In march 2010, i did kick my parents out of my house when I found out what happened. Since then, my parents and I have talked, but a lot of the talking has centered on things avoiding my personal life. I do not judge people by who or what or how. but by their ethics. What is most important to the person.... Sometimes family members are guilty of myopic vision and can't see the beauty of the forest through the trees being in the way.....
