Pass the written test, get the permit -- then you can practice driving at your convenience.

Sorry to hear this happened to your fiancee today. The following comments are in no way judgmental at all; but to help you see this from a different angle, the Consular Officer angle.
Of course they ask the beneficiary about the petitioner's background, the CO was aware of your record before your fiancee ever arrived for the interview, they (USCIS) did a thorough background check on you.
If you're crying, just imagine how she must've felt hearing that information for the first time, from a stranger. Put yourself in the shoes of the Consular Officer that interviewed a young lady that had no idea about the background of the man for which she was seeking a K-1 visa to marry. A CO has no way to know if your fiancee was aware of your background or not, other than by asking. Based on her answers, the way they see this, either the petitioner withheld the info from the beneficiary or the beneficiary did know and tried to withhold the info from the CO, not knowing if the latter of former was the case, it would appear to the CO the relationship was a sham.
You didn't lie on paper, but it appears to the CO that your fiancee was the one doing the lying. The visa application could very well be denied -- I'm not saying it will, but I'm saying it could.
The first thing you do; apologize profusely! Then tell your fiancee every detail of each case on your record.
Your case now sits in AP until USEM decides your faith, how long would that take? Only God knows. If the case gets denied, you could travel to the Philippines to marry your fiancee.

By now the OP is very aware of what a grave error it was to not inform his fiancee of his background, especially prior to the interview. He's now seeking advice as to what to expect and what could possibly be done to bring about a positive outcome.
We get it -- this would be a deal breaker if it were your fiance(e), therefore, if you have nothing of value to offer the OP regarding his case, why keep poking, jabbing, and stirring the pot with less than helpful comments? Let his fiancee deal with the trust issues.

It really doesn't matter, does it? Everyone is entitled to their opinion. You're responsible for what you post just as I am.

Since you're referring to me, I was quite impartial in making that statement. I called it like I saw it. But we both know that the intentional disruption is your act here, so why get offended? You post as you do to get the reaction you got from me. I gave an honest opinion, how could I be any more fair minded? I have no vendetta against you or anyone else here. I even invited Harpa or anyone else here to offer constructive criticism since I only post boring things that nobody is interested in. I thought that was fair too. I'm always willing to listen to both sides of the story.
And I don't think they are taking nominations for mods, I think they will sort it out on their own and choose who they feel is the best choice whether you, I or anyone else agrees or disagrees. The members here are just voicing their opinions on candidates to have a bit of fun. I know I got a kick out of reading this thread and participating in it. And I listed a few who I thought would be good for the job. I'm sure your idea of fair and impartial is someone who thinks like you and agrees with you.

An IR-1/CR-1 does not self schedule the interview, therefore, NVC would schedule the interview.

You submit an I-130 for each parent. The Adjustment of Status tales place while still outside of the USA, so no I-485 is needed.
Yes, they become permanent residents, with no further processing for the actual Green Cards.

Your wait is not extraordinary, if you do a search here -- you'll find I-129F petitioners/beneficiaries that waited 8 or 9 months for an NOA2.
Remain patient, you'll get that notice.

KIp would probably be fair. Booyah was an angry individual. As long as they don't appoint another female mod it should be ok. The ratio of female mods to female posters is 1-1 which is very discriminatory to men.

I'm only talking logic. One causes 200 deaths, the other 9000. Getting rid of which one would have the biggest impact?
If speed is a leading cause of automobile deaths, would banning Lamborghini's make a major dent in fatalities?
If pitbulls bite the most people, would banning poodles reduce dog bites?
If most people caught DUI were drinking beer, would banning 200 year old Scotch reduce DUI arrests?
If one person on VJ disrupts a thread, do you close the thread so that no one else can enjoy it?

You're from MA, so you're a liberal. Liberals are anti gun. If people want to ban certain guns, why not the ones that kill the most people?

Are you and Kathryn related? You two tend to show an abundance of patience--of course, that's my lowly opinion.
On another note, the proposed changes are two steps in the right direction.
