I have posted in 2 treads on here and tried to call the US EMBASSY in MANILA for my Fiances Interview.
I have had no luck;
I am in Manila and cannot call the US NUMBER.....
Tried to use advice here...went to PLDT Center on Makati Avenue...asked about the card to purchase to call US EMBASSY...everyone working in there said the US EMBASSY has no card to purchase and can't call from PLDT???? What the ****?
So went to a landline today...it says must have an LOAS CARD to call and go to PLDT SERVICE CENTER.....
I am going in circles now for a week....please someone who knows tell me where to go...what to buy...and what to do?
Is it just a pldt phone card...some special card? What is it and where do I get it and how does it work...what an f***** up system!
Pldt in makati knows nothing....
Should I go to the embassy????
HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
You got to purchase a PIN card on their website that will cost you $10 and then you can call the USE Manila and will charge you for a certain amount...Goodluck!

Just re-discovered this thread...how's everybody's progress?
Sent I-130 Jan 25 to Toronto
Emailed Consulate Feb 11, they confirmed they have the petition (but money order still outstanding), usually takes 2-5 weeks to schedule appointments once they input the file.
Hi Birdnerd! We're still waiting to hear from USE but too early to make follow ups. We filed 1-130 just this Jan. 29 and we were told to call them after 1 month....

1. Does anyone know if you need 4 photostatic copies of the G-325A form or you actually print out after typing 4 copies?
2. Also, someone mentioned about signing the G-325A form with blue pen? Anyone know if this is true? I know for the I-130 it specifically says to use black pen.
One copy for each of G325A now. We used black ballpen for signing!

Here's what I found and it says to avoid using staples:
http://www.uscis.gov/portal/site/uscis/men...00045f3d6a1RCRD
Yes staples are not allowed..We clipped them all together but i guessed they also take it off and put in their own envelope..Some of the continous pages we stick it together with adhesive transparent tape

The answer is Tokyo as that is where you are applying for DCF. The first half of the question (as you surmised) is not applicable to you as you guys are not in the US.

Thank you all...We will try to call tonight at Brewton Alabama county and will let you all know what will happen..

We filed a G 1145 form along with the I 130 etc and this is for email notification. After you get NOA1 and a receipt number, you can create an account on the USCIS site and sign up for text and or email updates; this is between NOA1 and NOA2. This is where you find out if your case has been 'touched.'
Hi. What is NOA1 and when do we get it?

I had the same problem and I just found a program that you can download for free called Yahoo Archive Viewer. It makes it really easy and you don't need to be online to read your chat logs. Goodluck
How?

The information can be obtained, with a bit of work. Does he remember where he got married? If so he can contact that city or county government to get the marriage certificate that will contain all needed info.
Get the correct information and submit the document.
Thank you all...We will try to call tonight at Brewton Alabama county and will let you all know what will happen..

G325A asks for ex's Date of birth, Marriage date, and place of marriage.
Thanks for the respond guys...Divorced happened 23 yrs ago. He has the divorced papers but doesn't indicates the date of birth of the ex wife and the date of marriage/place. He is now in the philippines for 1 yr and 3 months and don't have some of the personal documents with him but in the USA sealed in the boxes...Maybe its a good idea to write a letter attach to the G325-A form telling them the date and place of marriage was estimated to the best of his knowledge for the reason and so on and so forth.......Do you think it will be acceptable..will that be a caused of deny?

Thanks for the respond. Why it is said there should be in 3/4 frontal view showing the right side of the face with the right ear visible? Means a lil side view in 3/4 juts to show the right ears?
Ok thanks i got it. The link you gave me is more accurate! Thanks a lot!

"Two photographs are required. They must be unmounted full-face photos, taken within the past 6 months; photos should measure 2 inches square (roughly 50mm square) with the head centered in the frame. The head measured from the top of the hair to the bottom of the chin should measure at 1 inch to 1 3/8 inches (25mm to 35mm) with the eye level at 1 1/8 inch to 1 3/8 inches (28mm and 35mm) from the bottom of the photo. Photos should be printed without borders. The photograph must be full-face view in which the visa applicant is directly facing the camera."

When we went to the USE Manila we were given 1 thick set of documents and another 1 page only list of requirements. On the thick set docs it says that picture to be submitted should be Visa colored photo dimesion of the facial 1 inch from chin and on the other 1 page of paper it says Passport size foto..Which is which? Kinda confusing..Does anyone knows what is the right poto size picture to give them with 1-130? Thanks...

My USC husband is filling up his G325A for DCF. On the part which he has to put some of the details of his divorced he can't remember the date they got married of his ex wife and her birthday that was too long ago , he don't have any papers here showing her birthday and date of marriage was not even written in the divorce paper that he had.
What is the best thing to do? Is it ok to just estimate the month and day or leave it as blank?
Need help again..Thanks a lot..

No, where you lived other than the US. A person would put N/A that has never lived outside the US for a year or more.
You would put the last address where you lived at for at least a year or more. An example would be your parent's address if have have not moved out and resided in one place for at least a year.
Thanks ED. After living with my mother, we moved to the apartment since Oct 2008 to the present time so i will put our current address right?

My USC husband is filling up his G32A...Just to make sure what we are doing is right, what should he write down on
Curret husband or wife(If none so state)
Family name(For wife,given name)
If my married name now is Connie Smith and my single name was Connie Santos, should he write Santos Connie since it is written Family name (For wife, given name)
Pls help thanx
-
Yes, that's correct.
Ok thanks a lot! How about on my G325A where it was asked about
Applicant's last address outside the united states for more than one year? Do I have to put N/A coz I never been to USA....
-
Ok thank you guys. So that means it is not applicable to my US husband because he is a natural born citizen and an american. That section he is filling up is about his information on letter B....
So we have to write down our current address and put until present time where it was written like
FROM TO
10/09/2008 present
Is this correct?
Thanks....
-
B 14 pertains to US status.
C 21 use the last address you both lived together. (the apartment)
Ok thank you guys. So that means it is not applicable to my US husband because he is a natural born citizen and an american. That section he is filling up is about his information on letter B....

By the way, i have read this on USCIS website
HIV Testing: Starting January 4, 2010, an individual should no longer be tested for HIV infection for purposes of the immigration medical examination. 74 Fed. Reg. 56547 (Nov. 2, 2009). Please disregard any reference in Form I-693 and its instructions to HIV on or after January 4, 2010. When completing Forms I-693 on or after January 4, 2010, either:
write "No longer required" in the entry for HIV testing in Form I-693, section 2.2.©; or
leave the HIV testing section in Form I-693, Part 2.2.© blank.
Does this means medical fee will also be lessened?
