  1. Unless something unusual happens this is going to take a few years. I normally make a comment that he needs to naturalise asap as that will be the quickest way, however he has just got his GC and obviously not through marriage so he is is looking at 5 plus years to naturalise. So: Marry File I 130, I would file I 130 for both unless money is really tight. Be prepared to wait for some years. They can continue to visit but make sure they do not push it with frequency or time.
  2. The basis would be that the treatment needed is not available other than in the US and he needs his wife to assist him.
  3. Anyone can ask for an expedite and it is free to do so, why not? I think it is very unlikely that it would succeed, certainly would not make plans that it would. I do know the wait time for an interview at CDJ is long, also not sure how they will deal with this sort of case, extended AP could be possible.
  4. If we look at the whole process the real commitment immigration wise is the I 864, the I 134 is not enforceable.
  5. Yes you can
  6. Manilla may be slow but they seem much easier to get through than many other Consulates. The saying they give K1s out like candy seems to have merit based on the VJ experience.
  7. Yes You will need to provide evidence that it will continue after the move.
  8. I have been asked by an interested party who is currently snoozing how it compares with Nylabones?
  9. This is your regular mustard a jar costs about a dollar. Occasionally you see Colemans here which is the brand name but a lot more expensive. I am out of dry mustard which is a good boost to vinaigrette. Dry mustard has the advantage of increasing in heat after being mixed.
  10. I bumped into someone I knew back in the UK here much to my surprise, they came on an O. They moved States but last I heard are still here. Pretty sure they went for GC. They travelled a lot so needed a visa. Anyway up to 3 years initially and then you can extend status in one year increments, OP mentioned Visa. And was clear in requiring specific information. I agree with the Lawyers that O is not a clear cut dual intent like H and L. Sort of somewhere in between.
  11. You cannot renew a visa in the US. There is a new procedure for H1b in very limited circumstances but even that has not started.
  12. Some AP can not be used for leisure purposes but that is exceptional
  13. EADs usually take half of that, are you looking for a visa or status?
  14. I am not sure how common it is but by no means would it be the first on here.
  15. I suppose I will ask the obvious questions Are you also of Moroccan heritage? Same religion? Is he older? How did you meet? How often and how long have you met?
  16. He stopped smoking in August, we figured that was enough time to pass the test at the end of November
  17. I have not seen someone pass the year and fail.
  18. Ooops The only real issue seems domicile then.
  19. I would plan on the USC moving first and do you have a Joint Sponsor?
