  1. The more research I do about this the more confused I get. We have been emailed our marriage certificate. I understand that getting the report of marriage from the PSA is now a lengthy process. If we try to travel somewhere like Thailand or Singapore before we have the ROM is the immigration officer going to consider us married based on our Utah Marriage certificate? Thanks!
  2. I am going the Utah Online Wedding route and I want to take her on a short trip to Thailand or Singapore afterwards. I am very paranoid about her being offloaded. Can I print the marriage certificate I am emailed and get that apostilled? What difficulties could I face? Thanks in advance.
  3. Is there anything you can do to not lose all the money you spent on airfare and hotel if your Filipina partner gets offloaded at the airport? Somewhere I saw someone mention getting trip insurance that would cover being offloaded but I have never found insurance that offers this coverage. The risk of getting offloaded seems rather impossible to predict since it depends so much on the decision of whichever immigration officer does the screening. Is there any strategy to not lose all your money if she is offloaded, assuming you don’t plan to travel alone if it happens?
  4. If I get her a Schengen visa in a country like the Netherlands can I then just travel to France or other Schengen countries like Italy inside the 30 days? Don’t I need a complete itinerary booked to even apply for the visa. This is the headache for me, I’d like to see if I can get her there at all and then make concrete plans like visiting France for a week and maybe Italy for a few days but it feels like I have to book everything and spend all this money without any surety we can even go.
  5. No, she is a Philippine citizen. She hasn’t even been out of the country yet. Thanks.
  6. I hope someone can help me with this. I have read that the husband can be the financial sponsor but the application process still mentions a lot of stuff she doesn’t have like tax returns, paystubs, property ownership. We are just married. She is 20 and has never had a job and her family doesn’t have much money. I am 44, American, have a modest income and some savings and own a home. Realistically what are my chances of getting her a shengen visa to go to France for a week this summer for the Olympics? Thanks very much in advance.
  7. I understand the HPV vaccine isn’t really given in the Philippines because it is expensive. I am looking for the HPV vaccine in metro Manila and finding the cost to be around 10,000 a dose for gardasil 9 at private clinics. Is there a better or more affordable option to be aware of? Thanks in advance
  8. Can anyone help me out? I was going to wait on the K1 visa application but now I am considering just getting married in the Philippines. I am in Manila. I did not bring my birth certificate on this trip. I only have my passport and drivers license and ACR card. What are the logistics and timelines and options if I want to get married on this trip while I am here? I have been researching this on my own but am just getting more and more confused. Sincere thanks in advance.
