Lying about your sexual history is not a crime, nor is it prohibited by immigration laws, nor is it per se proof that the marriage was not based upon a bonafide relationship. If it were those things, 90% of this country would be in jail and we'd have virtually no immigration.

Oh my God, can we please stop making totally wild assumptions about this? Maybe the bleach had been secretly replaced with some other liquid! Or maybe it was bleach after all and she knew through her medical expertise that drinking bleach somehow isn't that bad for you! Maybe she didn't really get an abortion, and is lying about lying about that! Or maybe not only did she get an abortion, but her parents found out and married her off!
Or maybe none of us know hell we're talking about. Ever think of that possibility? Unbelievable.

Mike B. got a reaction from C-ma'am in Declaration of how you met. Question 18 of 129F
There is a tendency on this forum to brag about what little evidence people provided and still managed to get married. If I had a nickle for every time I've read "We only enclosed two photos and a single sentence stating that we met at a bus stop" or whatever, I'd have about 75 cents. Even though the OP's thing is longer than needed, it'd be pointless to revise it to make it shorter. Having it be that long isn't going to hurt him at all. Don't worry about the length of yours.
"Well, we have all the evidence we need to show that legally we should approve the petition, but this guy's answer to question 18 is on an attached sheet of paper, in compliance with the general instructions we provided, rather than in the box. I guess we'll have to issue a denial." <-- These words have never been spoken.

First time in my life I'd disagreed with TBoneTX. I think he is exactly wrong and troutcat is exactly right. At the end of the day, however, none of our opinions matter at all: either you're going to forgive this woman about not telling you her whole sexual history before you entered into an arraigned marriage with her, or you're not. You're an adult, you figure it out. Forget about the whole "I'm-going-to-get-her-deported-out-of-spite" nonsense.

Opinions can still be correct or incorrect. You don't have to have as many connections to USCIS that Gary has to know that he is right. Like many people who successfully went through the K1 process, I saw my petition at the embassy, where it was placed on a table in front of me while I spoke with the IO. Like Gary says, everything had clearly been taken apart and reassembled into a booklet that had binding put on it. If something is missing that's one thing, but other than that the organization of the paperwork doesn't make a difference. No adjudicator is going to see your petition the way you send it in no matter what. With all due respect, it's just asinine to argue otherwise. You might as well be telling people that if their handwriting on their check is bad, the clerk working the mail room is going to put in a bad word for you or something. Believe me, as long as everything you need is there, you're fine.
By the way I sent in my petition with one big black binder clip holding everything together. I didn't get an RFE.

Mike B. got a reaction from Kathryn41 in Inappropriate Job Interview Questions
It's highly unprofessional. I can tell you beyond a shadow of a doubt that if during an interview I asked a female prospective employee if she has had sex/got pregnant out of wedlock I would be fired. In fact, I wouldn't even want to work for an employer that wouldn't fire an employee for asking that question. Before I am allowed to interview anyone I'm supposed to review some document with a list of questions and question-types that I absolutely must not ask. Most of the questions listed by the OP would fall into those categories. I'm positive I'm not alone.

USCIS is concerned about immigrants bringing communicable diseases of public health significance to the United States and starting an epidemic. They are also concerned about things like drug addiction and alcoholism that can put the health and safety of Americans at risk, and could also require the beneficiary to commit crimes of moral turpitude. If whatever the beneficiary has in this instance is not a symptom of those types of diseases, you can safely bet that no one is going to deny the beneficiary her or her visa or bar them from entry based upon the hole. People with enlarged hearts, high cholesterol, etc. immigrate to the United States all the time. Their health issues are their own problems as far as Uncle Sam is concerned.

This is confusing to me. You have now twice said that you are doing AOS, but you also said that you're referring to Removal of Conditions. Adjustment of Status and Removal of Conditions are two wholly different processes.
If you're doing Removal of Conditions, the green card is expired, you lost the one-year extension, and you don't have an I-551 stamp in your husband's passport, your husband doesn't want to be traveling out of the country. There was just recently a thread about a guy who decided to travel internationally with a photocopy of the one-year extension, but not the real thing, and it was pure hell. He was allowed to board the plane leaving the country, but then not allowed to board the plane coming back, and got stuck in a third country due to a connecting flight. It might have been worse if he was allowed to board the plane, though, because CBP could have denied him entry and detained him.
That being said, it sounds like you have things more-or-less resolved if they can print out a copy of the extension while you wait. If they can't do that, perhaps you could ask for the I-551 stamp in your husband's passport, which you should bring.
