    there isn't

u can not respond to things like "staged photos"

Would like to see what they see as staged.  I don't trust them at all. We recieved a NOIR for absolutely no reason at all.  But despite their effort to tear us apart, my husband is a US citizen and Oct 16th will be our 12 year anniversary.

I am aware this couples chanenges are difficult.  I hope they can get records of their call logs.  Some are available depending on what your using. The pictures are difficult to prove if they are staged or not.

Yes,  many have gone thru this

some respond /some USC's give up

the USC has to follow the notice to respond to the NOIR within a given timeframe /  if the USC does not respond with REAL PROOFS that the CO's issues are not so and i mean real proofs -not a say so thing-,  the petition will be revoked and visa application denied

A Notice of Intent to Revoke (NOIR) is a communication sent by the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services to a petitioner about a previously approved petition, telling him or her that the USCIS intends to revoke the petition, along with the reasons for revocation, and giving the petitioner a fixed amount of time to respond

Were you able to get in? My Oath Ceremony is next week at Los Angeles field office Suite 1001. My husband was able to come to my N-400 interview - he sat in the waiting room - but not sure about Oath Ceremony!

Hello,  you can both go in the doors but, your husband will stay in the area you enter.  Where my husband entered they had seats. He your husband can stay there but you must go on by yourself.  Don't worry there is nothing to be nervous about.

My husband said people forgot to take their letters but,  immigration officers I think will get who ever forgets them a copy.

Note, they take about 12 people at a time to take the Oath and you just repeat what they say.  It's the easiest part of this very long (for us) and tedious process.

Congratulations my dear, enjoy saying goodbye to USCIS.

Just chiming in to say that my husband's ceremony was hosted at a university.  The notification we received from USCIS about the ceremony did not indicate that he could bring guests; actually it said you may be limited in who you may bring with you, but it looked like a standard form letter.  I contacted the university and they told me it was an event open to the public and there was no limit on the number of guests that could come.  Including myself we had a total of 12 guests.  The ceremony was actually quite special, and worth attending.

If your ceremony is at a USCIS field office, it's probably a different story.

Thank you so much, so happy for you.  Unfortunately for us it's at the L.A. Field office.  But I'm going anyway, just no guests.  I might get lucky and there will be a kind immigration person that will let me in. Don't have much hope, but will give it a good try.

Thank you again for your very important input, I truly appreciate it.   🤗💜🤗

The Dallas field office is not currently allowing visitors. My wife has her oath in a few days and this is what it says:

Who should come with you? - You may be limited in who may attend your appointment with you in person.

    • If you do not speak English fluently and are eligible to take the appointment in a language other than English, you should arrange to have an interpreter come with you to the appointment or be available via phone. If you need a Sign Language Interpreter or Certified Deaf Interpreter, call the USCIS Contact Center at 1-800-375-5283 as soon as possible.
    • Your attorney or authorized representative may come with you to the appointment or be available via phone.
    • If you have a disability and have an individual who assists you, that individual may come with you.

No mention of anyone else being able to attend.

Thank you, sad they would do this. 🤗

The Text says more Than one person, Muslims marry more than one woman.the Law apply to Christian, as it is not ok in this religion. The King in UK changed the whole Christianity belief to evangelic, because the church don't approve him marrying more than a wife.In the USA it is Legal, you can do it but it is a long legal fight. If the court approves you, then USCIS scrutinizes you. that is why so many people trick the system.

My husband is Muslim, you can NOT marry more than one woman I all of America, from Canada to the tip of Tierra del Fuego.  Not sure why you can't understand this. You have to go to a Muslim country to practice Polygamy legally.  If you do this in the USA your in deep trouble.  But feel free if you would like to risk it.

      Good luck.

First of all, marrying a second wife is not a Polygamy, the Issue here is how your father Forced your Mom into Civil Divorce? in the USA as a Muslim, you can have a second or 3rd or even a forth wife the same time and it is not considered polygamy. the USA law consider religious beliefs of others and acknowledges them. Mormon and Amish does it and none is accused of Polygamy. The Issue is how your father forced your Mom into civil divorce. Scenario one: he is stupid , does not know his rights, second scenario he thinks as being divorced can bring second wife to USA. if you say you are a practicing Muslims, how is this a problem to you and your mother? it is in your culture, your traditions your beliefs. Or you want to hurt your father because you Mad.

if Shariaa Board here in USA told your father this divorce is not legal and he can still have your mother as a wife because marriage according to USA law is not a recognized  marriage.  then, Please provide their names here and I as a Muslim will mobilize Islamic scholar to teach him and people like him how well is islamic religion. This bullying, abuse and lies you all participate on it.

Probably other non Muslim here when they see things like that they think Muslims are just piece of and savage, but the reality is how we - Muslims represent the Islam.

as far as your father second wife, since she contacted you and admitted she is his wife then, you all are aware of this, it is just a mater of anger and you want to hurt your father. if you want to know the legal view of islam about your father divorcing his wife, then your mother is Haram on your father, since he has a legal paper justify he divorced her. Your father living in Haram, your mother is not Halal on Him.they should be separated, and this is what you should do as a Muslim, and this issue should be your primary concern not stopping your father bringing his second wife.

Seriously, where do you get your information!

    Does USA allow polygamy?

Polygamy is illegal and criminalized in every country in North and South America, including all 50 U.S. states
    And more clearly,

The legality of polygamy in the United States is that the practice is a crime and punishable by a fine, imprisonment, or both, according to the law of the individual state and the circumstances of the offense.[1] Polygamy was outlawed in federal territories by the Edmunds Act, and there are laws against the practice in all 50 states, as well as the District of Columbia, Guam,[2] and Puerto Rico.[3] Because state laws exist, polygamy is not actively prosecuted at the federal level,[4] but the practice is considered "against public policy".

Many US courts (e.g. Turner v. S., 212 Miss. 590, 55 So.2d 228) treat bigamy as a strict liability crime: in some jurisdictions, a person can be convicted of a felony even if he reasonably believed he had only one legal spouse. For example, if a person has the mistaken belief that their previous spouse is dead or that their divorce is final, they can still be convicted of bigamy if they marry a new person.

It is illegal and a FELONY to marry more than one person.

No sorry you can't have more than 1 (one) wife at a time.   Any marriage after your first marriage is annulled. 🤔 🚔 🚨

Thank you so much, I can't afford a divorce attorney now, hope it wouldn't be too late like in two or three months time?

Try to do a search for your area where you live.

Put in city and state and free or low cost Legal Aid and  Pro Bono, might have to pay but much less.  Do it as soon as possible.  Much luck I'll be praying for you.

She said to my wife that if my wife surround her with mountains of gold bricks, it would still not be enough to repay her who raised her.

That my wife should be grateful that without her, she would not be born and living in the USA if not for her.

My widowed mother-in-law dos not work due to health reasons. She is in her mid sixties. Her other daughter living in the USA is buying the house she is living in.  She also said she has to stretch the $700 remittance to make it last all month.

I am interested in to hear thoughts from other Filipinas living in the USA or outside the Philippines on this subject matter.

    Thank you.

My Phillipine friends  told me to look up average wages. Were shocked $700 wasn't enough since the average wage is around $240.  Only if they were expats would they need from #1000,00 go $1,500 to live how theh were used to in for example the US.  Remember expats and tourists are in general or usually pay more for everything.  Hive her more, she will ask for more sooner than you think.

    🤔🤑

I would stop paying her for a month. I'm sure she will appreciate the $700 after that.  Just saying.

The only thing I found relatable to this particular issue is this from Travel.state.gov  "When traveling, the primary (or principal) applicant must enter the United States before or at the same time as family members holding visas".   The applicant is our case is my husband.  I am the sponsor/petitioner.  If I were to fly with him, wouldn't I have to go through another door with other US Citizens while my husband has to go on his own through Immigration?  At least that is how its always been when we have traveled together in the past.  I pass through quickly while I have to sit and wait for him to pass through.

No you go with your husband I did.  They do not seperate you. 💗
