  1. Yes keep trying... I'm getting the 503 error also but the EMMA chat won't work here. That's for USCIS and the DS160 Photo Upload Tool is State Department
  2. Today's stats: April 24, 2025 21:55 MDT November 2024 Filed I-485 Stats • Approved: 1,800 (+96) • Denied: 203 • FingerprintScheduled: 154 • InterviewCancelled: 139 • InterviewScheduled: 6,690 (+62) • Processing: 31,927 • Received: 661 • Rejected: 106 • RFE: 381 • Terminated: 128 • Withdrawal: 8 • Others: 68 Interesting week - There were more approvals made than interviews scheduled for 4th day out of the last 5
  3. DO NOT worry about the "valid until" date on the approval notice.... if you are unable to get an interview until after that date, you can still attend the interview and if approved, the Consular Officer conducting the interview will automatically extend the validity date of the notice.
  4. I believe so or you can at least upload a letter on the portal after you submit the application. I'll tag @OldUser who just recently applied for the N-400
  5. Ok good. For the N-400 application, include a cover letter indicating you have a pending I-751, specify the receipt number and request a combo interview
  6. Do you plan to apply for the N-400 while the I-751 is pending? If so then this is correctable at the interview (assuming you request and get a combo interview) but I would definitely disclose it on the N-400.
  7. Congratulations and thank you so much for sharing the details with the community!!
  8. The problem with going the email route is that NVC will not give you your case number if you inquire that way. The public inquiry form is the only route by which they will respond with your case number. Good luck to you both!
  9. Today's stats: April 23, 2025 21:30 MDT November 2024 Filed I-485 Stats • Approved: 1,704 (+84) • Denied: 197 • FingerprintScheduled: 159 • InterviewCancelled: 137 • InterviewScheduled: 6,628 (+54) • Processing: 32,085 • Received: 662 • Rejected: 106 • RFE: 388 • Terminated: 126 • Withdrawal: 8 • Others: 68
  10. There you go... give it a few weeks and then make another inquiry via the public inquiry form to NVC. I will give you the advice that I give everyone when communicating with the NVC. In the next request you send NVC, after you ask them for the case number, ask them to update the petitioner and beneficiary email addresses. Phrase it something like this: "Also please update the email addresses for this case as follows: Petitioner email address: xxxxx@mail.com Beneficiary email address: xxxxx@mail.com" Sometimes in the data entry of the I-129F petition into the Department of State systems, there can be typos, transcription, etc. errors. This will ensure that they have the right email addresses on file. I did this for me and Jaycel and both of us got every email along the way from NVC and the embassy all the way through the instructions on how to handle the yellow packet after her visa was issued. Best of luck to you both!
  11. I'm sorry if I gave the impression that Jaycel had to have her visa re-issued - She did not. I was just looking through all the correspondence we received from the embassy to find anything that mentioned visa reissuance in case you did not have it.
  12. This is what Jaycel got from the embassy in Manila after her visa was issued regarding replacement visa. Don't know if it will help but I'll share anything I can find: REPLACEMENT VISA To request a replacement visa, the passport with the expired visa and the packet must be sent to the U.S. Embassy. It should include a signed letter explaining the reason for the inability to use the visa before its expiration and the intended travel date if a replacement visa is approved. An applicant approved for a replacement visa will be required to update expired documents and pay the applicable fees anew.
  13. Ok sorry to hear that. Wanted to make sure you tried that avenue.
  14. Have you tried making an inquiry here? https://ph.usembassy.gov/visas/immigrant-visa-inquiry-form/ And yes I believe you will have to pay the visa fee again but I'm not 100% on that
  15. Today's stats: April 22, 2025 21:35 MDT November 2024 Filed I-485 Stats • Approved: 1,620 (+52) • Denied: 193 • FingerprintScheduled: 159 • InterviewCancelled: 139 • InterviewScheduled: 6,574 (+154) • Processing: 32,207 • Received: 668 • Rejected: 106 • RFE: 395 • Terminated: 127 • Withdrawal: 8 • Others: 68
  16. What does the status of your I-129F petition say? Has USCIS updated it to "Case Was Sent To The Department of State"?
  17. That being said, you should follow the suggestion from @Crazy Cat above and file for adjustment of status from here in the US after you get married. File the I-130, I-130a, I-485 (Adjustment to Lawful Permanent Resident), I-765 (Employment Authorization - OPTIONAL but highly recommended), I-131 (Travel Authorization (Advanced Parole) - OPTIONAL but I would not spend the money because if I were her I would not travel on Advanced Parole in her situation). You would file all of them in the same envelope (Concurrent filing)
  18. Still stick to my opinion that the secondary inspection does not count as being "Detained" but maybe a more experienced member can weigh in @Crazy Cat @OldUser @Dashinka For being refused entry due to the pandemic, I would disclose this with the date it happened and the reason they gave you for the refusal
  19. Did you mean tourist visa? By technically here illegally by 6 months do you mean she overstayed her visa? As long as she Entered the US legally (on that tourist(?) visa) then she can adjust status to LPR after you guys get married (assuming you are a US Citizen) and a visa overstay would be forgiven. Be advised that this will draw extra scrutiny from USCIS as she would have married you and filed for adjustment while being out of status.
  20. This was before your K-1 visa was issued I'm assuming? This secondary inspection just like at the airport passport control, not being detained IMHO. Did they admit you to the US after that? What was the reason for refusing your entry? Just because of the pandemic?

  22. You don't even need to bring the SS Card to the biometrics so not an issue
