  1. This is what we did for Jaycel's interview in Manila. They never asked her for it but she had it just in case....
  2. It appears that the NVC has included your child, that your fiance properly listed on the I-129F in your case, as a possible K-2 derivative. It should not affect your case going forward as they would only issue a K-2 visa to your child if you filed a separate DS-160 for them. Since she is a US Citizen you will not do that and after 2 years that case will be closed out as abandoned
  3. Can you post the RFE letter (all pages) with personally identifiable information redacted? This would help in answering your questions
  4. Today's stats: May 13, 2025 20:55 MDT November 2024 Filed I-485 Stats • Approved: 4,656 (+72) • Denied: 495 • FingerprintScheduled: 119 • InterviewCancelled: 221 • InterviewScheduled: 9,678 (+145) • Processing: 25,720 • Received: 632 • Rejected: 104 • RFE: 426 • Terminated: 148 • Withdrawal: 19 • Others: 46
  5. That's great! Thanks for starting the thread for May!
  6. Congrats!!! 🎉🥳 Bring whatever evidence of a bona fide marriage you have available - Joint bank accounts, joint lease agreement, evience of being beneficiary on life insurance, being in each other's wills / healthcare POA, being on the spouse's health insurance, car insurance, homeowner's / renter's insurance, joint credit card(s) or authorized user on the other's credit card(s), joint Sam's Club / Costco memberships....
  7. @BIRDFEEDERIN Thank you so much for giving the details! I'm sure @SL2024 will be grateful as his local office is San Jose also
  8. I wish I had some insight to share, sometimes the CEAC status can lag behind actual events.... Please let us know what you get back when the passport is returned
  9. Congrats!! 🎉 We're November filers and still waiting
  10. And FYI for some reason the Manila Embassy does not use the status code of AP very often and with a 221g they will usually just leave it in "Refused" status until they approve and issue it
  11. The CEAC status will change to "Issued" when the visa has been printed and placed in the passport. You should receive an email from LBC with the tracking number once they ship the passport
  12. Same here - The only thing they asked Jaycel for was the required civil docs (BC, CENOMAR, Police Clearance, Passport). Never asked for the I-134 from her either. The consular officers certainly do have a huge amount of discretion. Jaycel went to the embassy with probably 250 pages of documents... But I know Murphy's Law all too well, if she didn't bring everything, they would have asked for whatever she didn't bring
  13. They never asked Jaycel for the I-134 from me either 🤷‍♂️
  14. Today's stats: May 12, 2025 22:45 MDT November 2024 Filed I-485 Stats • Approved: 4,584 (+125) • Denied: 460 • FingerprintScheduled: 121 • InterviewCancelled: 213 • InterviewScheduled: 9,533 (+223) • Processing: 25,977 • Received: 633 • Rejected: 104 • RFE: 427 • Terminated: 147 • Withdrawal: 18 • Others: 49 These are the stats from 10:45 Mountain Time last night that I took a screen grab of. Just didn't have time to post until this morning
  15. Congratulations!! 🎉 Would you share a little more detail about your interview for those of us who will likely have to do one soon?
  16. @thonati thank you for sharing yours and your fiancée's experience with the community!
  17. The EBE was working up until early March 2025 when the system appears to have been suspended. Jaycel had her EAD approved on 1/8/2025 and received her updated SS Card in her married name on 1/15/2025, 3 days before the actual EAD Card arrived
  18. This program, the Enumeration Beyond Entry (EBE) program was suspended in early 2025. This program previously allowed for automatic issuance of Social Security numbers to certain immigrants with approved work permits or pending adjustment of status applications. As a result of the suspension, immigrants now need to apply for their SSNs in person at a local Social Security Administration (SSA) office. https://www.murthy.com/2025/05/08/dhs-reportedly-freezes-the-ebe-program-for-issuing-social-security-cards/
  19. My advice is to have them return for the scheduled interview - I would not give up that interview date for anything these days. Make attending that interview as scheduled the most important thing in the world right now. Good luck!
