  1. Correct, your brother is not a part of your mother and father's petition.

After one of the parents have obtain their GC, they can file for your brother. It is a 3 year wait for a visa for a LPR children.

Sorry, you'll didn't do your due diligent prior to filing. It looks as if one parent wll need to stay back in Jamaica until there is a visa available for the brother.

  2. it's the picture on the visa stuck in the passport, which if it's a US visa (which it is) it's printed on a special paper that isn't glossy.

am I just being stupid right now? because I really don't see how using a dry erase marker would get rid of the permanent one on the visa paper.

Instead of ???? it, try it, it does work. Google it...http://lilduckduck.com/8-ways-to-remove-permanent-marker-stains/253

But the picture is printed on a photo pper, so it may have some type of gloss over-lay. I don't have time to go look at my husband passport to see exactly what you'll are trying to convey.

The trick works on cloth, furniture, etc.

  3. Confusing a single entry visa with the time approved to visit. If he landed in November, he has already overstayed. He needs to be leaving on the midnight flight, to avoid the 180 days penalty.

He will never receive another B1/2, because he has overstayed by 1 day. Reason for extension, is no longer important.

  4. They schedule the 2nd tuesday of every month, so if your was completed after that then you will wait to be scheduled the following month.

This is the time to be checking doc, and straighten out lingering issues.

  5. Sandra, personaly I don't care how he survive, what I do see is alot of holes in his story, which as juror I would find it hard to believe this story in it's entirety(sp). Once one part of a tale start un-raving then the whole story falls apart.

I focus on details as they have been stated, not on asumptions. SD, didn't have to say any of this but he choose to put these facts out on a public board. As a lawyer, wouldn't you try to focus on what parts of a story could lead to more questions before you try to convince the juror that yout client story is the absolute truth.

  6. Back up...No organization and no children travel without parent. Your assumptions went a little wild.

So if your family needs a ride, I'll let you know when I'm on the road again. Unless you're safe enough driver to join the team - got a vacancy!

Friends, lets go back to my question: how does DV agency/Lawyer find out Abuser's status before filing VAWA?

Family just happens to know a friend who knowns a friends that happens to be going to Disney World.

    I buy that.....SFU..

  7. Hello everyone i am wondering if sumone who has done thier medical at Dr.Banbury's office in kingston could tell me if there is a restriction on using phones once u get there. my husband had his interview scheduled for 7 30 today and i havent heard from him at all and its now 5:15 shouldnt he be done by now? i cant get him on either of his phones and am a little worried about him because this is not like him to have his phones off. have u had to turn off ur phones when u r at ur medical? and how long did it take to complete ur medical?

The medical is only an half day event at the most.

  8. I would have thought the DNA tests could be done in less than 2 weeks.

SD, how are you doing this is you are here illegal?

P.S. For those who are not in dire emergency and who have stabilized already: I run an amazing program covering the entire Eastern Time Zone, from NorthEast all the way to Key West (that's only 90 miles North of Cuba!) I take families to Disneyworld using multi-passenger vehicles, during school breaks only (and that's the highest seasons) totally non-profit, sometimes even at zero price! Right now my program is back-logged dozens of families, waiting for me to renew my DL. Sorry, I'm not aware of anyone else running this on the East Coast.

  9. Because the order didn't say you are the DNA parent, it just says the children were born durning the time frame inwhich you'll were married. There is a hugh difference, you have alot to learn.

NY is justing saying that since you'll were married, you can be held respnsible for children that were born durning the time of your marriage. Did NY do a DNA ?
