    yea about 3 weeks after it got delivered we check our informed delivery pretty much every night at this point 😂

    its only been 3 days since we got the text so 😂 yay! hopefully it goes a bit quicker this time lol

    you might be able to call and ask if they can see if you've been issued a number, but that would be it. they can't tell you the SSN over the phone.

    you do not have to change your name with the SSO first. you marriage certificate is a proof of name change on your AOS forms in the "Your Current Legal Name" you can put your married name and put your maiden name in the "Other Names Used Since Birth" part. this goes for any of the forms (I-485, I-765, I-131) do you know what your SSN is? cause if you already applied for one you will need it before you can submit the forms. if you haven't gotten the card back and it has been at least 2 weeks, you might be able to go into the SSO and see if they can tell if to you verbally, that is what we did.

    Yes that is what you do You put the information on page 14

    It is not a requirement, you can include the lease if you want, and any photos you might have of getting married is also an option. The only requirement is the proof of marriage, which is a copy of the marriage certificate Adding anything else is just extra

    We didn't think it was worth the extra cost. If there's worry of needing to go back due to family getting really sick, then yea maybe Otherwise I don't think so

    We also resubmitted all of the stuff from the first rejection, other than the forms, was accepted so far That neon paper is definitely to show whoever adjudicates it next that it has been scanned before

    we put unemployment first because it was about 6 months worth. you can always use page 14 for extra space for the employment part. thats what we did

    definitely go over it like 2 or 3 times to be sure you got every question

    its asking for the applicant's prior marriages i.e the original beneficiary of the I-129f everything on the I-485 is going to be in reference to the applicant, meaning the person seeking a green card.

    yes it should be printed on the visa itself in the bottom right corner

    well one of the requirements from the I-864 is at least the tax transcript for the most recent year.. you could probably just send 2023. but have plenty of time to wait for 2024 if you wanted to.

    i submitted the certified copies but ive read people just make copies OF the certified copy and submit those and have been fine.

    ive noticed that as well i think they just add a day to whatever day you mailed it. our most recent was mailed on 2/5 and the notification was dated they received it on 2/6, but it didn't even get delivered until 2/7 lol

    thats what happened with ours my husband got an email that something was in the package locker, but nothing showed on our informed delivery. he thought it was just an extra notification from something I ordered. my thought is if the envelope is too thick/big it doesn't get scanned for informed delivery.

    if i were you I would just use the new one. save yourself the hassle of potentially getting another rejection for using the wrong form. plus they would only accept the old form if it was post marked before feb 10th. and we are well past that. since your case was never officially created, i don't think they would give you a pass on that.

    if there was a rejection letter it should say but more than likely yes

    how much time did they give you to respond to the RFE? you could try going to your local SSO and see if they can tell it to you verbally.
