I might try and avoid PoE at Detroit this time.

Sounds to me like you're thinking of using purchases associated with a marriage to evidence an engagement. Kinda risky to do so as any implication that you are already married voids the fiancé petition.

How does your relationship not look like the approved ones you have read about? Everyone is different. Me and my fiancé didn't focus on pics either, we provided 1 image in our application. There is much more weight on evidencing a physical meet up with boarding passes, flight itineraries, accommodation booking, etc. VJers generally advise that pics are not the strongest of evidence as without time stamps (which can be easily falsified anyway) and meta data, there is no way to really prove the pics were taken when you say they were.

Unsure why you would omit evidence of anything that is relevant and easy to include. If you're already listing the dates, and have boarding passes available, it is not much more work to scan them and include copies. Including docs of all visits can only help your case, or at worse just be ignored in favour of the most recent.

If you want to lessen your chances of RFE or denial, then you should probably research the entire process and the requirements of each step.

Did she tell you that she needed to provide a return ticket at interview? Did she tell you that she was denied and told to apply for a K1? Has she provided any form of written evidence of this or are you just continuing to throw money at her when she asks for it? My guess is that her mother will have some kind of money issues next, meaning that she can't pay for the new flights and you'll have to dig deeper into your pockets. Cut your losses.

We all have to meet the requirements of the K1/CR1 visa process. You are no different. You either want to be together enough that you will find a way to meet the requirements so you can pursue the K1/CR1 route, with the intent of staying together indefinitely, or you don't. Me and my fiancé had to wait 5 years to meet due to a combination Covid restrictions, inconsistent income and studying. Nothing worth having is ever easy to achieve.

It sounds like your friends have already tried to warn you but you're here trying to find someone who will tell you that she doesn't have bad intentions. If you are meeting all these people through these dating apps, then maybe the approach you are taking to meeting a potential partner needs to change.

A marriage is a commitment between two people to spend the rest of their lives together. Of course, things and feelings change over time but I would say it is a huge red flag that you are already concerned about being left and are scared of going into this commitment in the first place. Nerves are normal, it's a huge step to take. But you should atleast feel comfortable with the thought of being with your potential husband indefinitely.

Your NOA2 is valid for 4 months so can schedule your interview within that timeframe as long as you submit all required docs and attend medical in advance of then.

Hello, It's been a little over 2 weeks since me and fiancé posted our I-129F. USPS tracking confirmed it delivered to Dallas PO Box at 5:20am on April 4th - I'd assume it would've been collected shortly after then? Fiancé still hasn't received any update via text/email to say it has been received. Is this normal? Has anyone else experienced waits longer than the much shorter timeframes I'm reading online? I'm starting to worry that it's been missed somehow. Thank you
