  1. Sounds to me like you're thinking of using purchases associated with a marriage to evidence an engagement. Kinda risky to do so as any implication that you are already married voids the fiancé petition.
  2. How does your relationship not look like the approved ones you have read about? Everyone is different. Me and my fiancé didn't focus on pics either, we provided 1 image in our application. There is much more weight on evidencing a physical meet up with boarding passes, flight itineraries, accommodation booking, etc. VJers generally advise that pics are not the strongest of evidence as without time stamps (which can be easily falsified anyway) and meta data, there is no way to really prove the pics were taken when you say they were.
  3. You seemed to have missed the following: Unless the London embassy has directly specified to you in writing that they only require one of the various supporting docs, it wouldn't be wise of you to attend your interview with only tax returns.
  4. Unsure why you would omit evidence of anything that is relevant and easy to include. If you're already listing the dates, and have boarding passes available, it is not much more work to scan them and include copies. Including docs of all visits can only help your case, or at worse just be ignored in favour of the most recent.
  5. If you want to lessen your chances of RFE or denial, then you should probably research the entire process and the requirements of each step.
  6. Did she tell you that she needed to provide a return ticket at interview? Did she tell you that she was denied and told to apply for a K1? Has she provided any form of written evidence of this or are you just continuing to throw money at her when she asks for it? My guess is that her mother will have some kind of money issues next, meaning that she can't pay for the new flights and you'll have to dig deeper into your pockets. Cut your losses.
  7. We all have to meet the requirements of the K1/CR1 visa process. You are no different. You either want to be together enough that you will find a way to meet the requirements so you can pursue the K1/CR1 route, with the intent of staying together indefinitely, or you don't. Me and my fiancé had to wait 5 years to meet due to a combination Covid restrictions, inconsistent income and studying. Nothing worth having is ever easy to achieve.
  8. USCIS states that 80% of cases are completed within 13 months. That isn't the same as them taking 13 months to complete. The data on TMVN, VJ and anecdotal from recent approvals here suggests that the processing times have significantly decreased for many cases.
  9. You either need a full set of vaccines (whether it's one, two or three doses) within the stated timeframe OR if you received your vaccine(s) before this timeframe, you need to evidence a booster.
  10. It sounds like your friends have already tried to warn you but you're here trying to find someone who will tell you that she doesn't have bad intentions. Sometimes reality can be hard to face but we should listen to those who are closest to us. Your friends know your situation better than any of us. Personally I don't see why anyone would be talking to umpteen people from countries other than theirs on a dating app, if they didn't have the intent on trying to bag a way out of a life they're not happy with. I also find it odd that she has two phones, unless one is strictly for work purposes, but the fact that she had this dating app installed on both suggests it's not a work phone. You mention that you have been cheated on in every relationship you've been in. Perhaps you need to take a step back and analyse the type of people you are "matching" with. If you are meeting all these people through these dating apps, then maybe the approach you are taking to meeting a potential partner needs to change.
  11. I'm unsure why you would choose to redact any information. Personally, I would have concerns about redactions causing confusion during processing and resulting in another RFE...
  12. A marriage is a commitment between two people to spend the rest of their lives together. Of course, things and feelings change over time but I would say it is a huge red flag that you are already concerned about being left and are scared of going into this commitment in the first place. Nerves are normal, it's a huge step to take. But you should atleast feel comfortable with the thought of being with your potential husband indefinitely.
  13. Your NOA2 is valid for 4 months so can schedule your interview within that timeframe as long as you submit all required docs and attend medical in advance of then.
  14. Personally, we didn't include Discord logs (or any call logs) and only included screenshots of texts from both our phones (around 10 each spanning over a year or so, I noted the dates/time frames for reference). I feel it's redundant unless your real names are visible. Alias is only for another name you may be known as. For example, William/Bill. Alongside that, we included proof of meeting, picture together and a statement of how we met and for how long.
  15. Do you mean including her underwear or undressed to her underwear? Undressing to underwear is normal. Women may need to take off their bra for the chest x-ray.
  16. No. "All applicants eligible for Covid-19 vaccination under local policy, including K1 visas, Refugees and Non-immigrant visas require proof of 2 doses of a COVID 19 vaccine in order to complete their Visa Medical (With the exception of the Janssen vaccine which is a one dose course)."
  17. No. You can view the table of vaccination requirements here: https://www.cdc.gov/immigrantrefugeehealth/pdf/Vaccine-Requirements-According-to-Applicant-Age-panel-physicians-p.pdf Your fiancé's age will determine what is needed. For Covid specifically, one full dose is required and a booster within 6 months of the medical exam if the original dose was received more than 6 months prior.
  18. Congrats! You can view the following flowchart which will give you an idea of the next steps: It sounds like you're at Step 4 and now your case is now being forwarded to the NVC. Or perhaps Step 6 if you have a Montreal case number? According to the flowchart, the beneficiary should expect to receive a welcome pack in the mail. This will contain instructions as to what is now required.
  19. What sections did you sign? I believe it is best practice to avoid putting N/A in fields that don't apply to you, and instead just leave them blank. The return notice makes it sound like the petitioner did not sign on page 10 (Part 5. Petitioner's Statement, Contact Information, Declaration, Certification and Signature). Edit: I'm now thinking that by putting N/A in the signature box of the Preparer (because you are trying to say that the field is not applicable) could actually confuse the situation and be seen as a signature. If so, and if you do not follow up with providing further details such as name and contact info, the section will be regarded as incomplete.
  20. OP, why are you trying to immigrate to the US when you have such an apparent disdain for it's people?
  21. Your parents overstayed on tourist (nonimmigrant) visas with the intention of AOSing (immigrating)?
  22. Is an ESTA for the squeaky clean though? The questions to me seem very specific to particular crimes (and degrees of crimes). For example, there's no mention of arrests for theft, driving offences, vandalism, etc. "Assault" in the UK is a broad conviction. It could be from anything from throwing a drink on someone to grievous bodily harm. In my opinion, the question that asks "Have you ever been arrested or convicted for a crime that resulted in ... serious harm to another person ... ?" suggests a level of offense that warrants more than a £50 slap on the wrist. OP, you will have to provide an ACRO police report for your B visa interview and seeing as you have spent convictions, you will also need a Subject Access Request (SAR) which will detail the spent conviction.
  23. Apologies if there's a thread already here somewhere, but I cannot quite seem to find anything that answers my particular query. I'm aware of TMVN and the fact that it's a monthly subscription which claims to provide you with a reasonably accurate estimates for key points along visa processes. I'm also aware that VJ users opinions on this service vary greatly. I find myself wondering, bar using the service to gauge dates that aren't even set in stone, what else does it provide? If I'm not really that concerned with knowing exact dates because I can be flexible with my plans, or if I'm happy to stick with the free VJ timeline estimate, is there anything else I'm missing of value that TMVN could provide for a subscription fee? Also, if you do recommend it (either for date estimates or something else), is there a certain point in the process that you'd advise signing up? For example, would it provide any benefit to sign up at the NOA1 stage (longer sub, more money) versus signing up later down the line at NOA2 and beyond (shorter sub, costing less overall)? FYI, I created an online account (for free) on USCIS website using my (beneficiary) email. This has case tracking and I believe it will notify me by email once the status of our application changes - something that TMVN also offers (at a price). Thanks in advance for any input.
