    You could try to reschedule the interview for later. When did you file your taxes? Takes less than a month to be updated on the site.

    You can reschedule. I've seen people from different embassy reschedule. There's an option to reschedule for our country. Call and see

    You had me scared for a second. I didn't put their any of their passport info on the i-129f because it's only needed if they are in the U.S. "If your beneficiary is currently in the United States, complete Item Numbers 38.a. - 38.h." So no 38e

    I mean after that (the physical passport in hand), but oh snap! You just made me think of another problem. My beneficiary expired and we used that number on the application. And I looked up for America (I don't know how it is in their country) and passport numbers change when renewed.

    I know they need it for the interview, but do they need it before then like for the medical exam?

    This is going to be an interesting VISA interview. You could be denied if all of this is revealed. On the surface, it looks like more of charity to get an immigration benefit than a bonafide relationship

    If you filing out the i129f, I don't think they care how much you make. You don't have to start to prove anything until the ds160 after the i129f is approved. And if it looks fishy, to the embassy during the interview. If you go a lot of money like that, just hire an attorney that can help you gather the evidence of your wealth. But I assume you got over 100k Edit: I half read and see you got a joint sponsor. Just tell the truth. When you do the affidavit of support, grandma money will be on there as evidence.

    If it is, it's the most minor of one. Too much evidence of testimonies on here and all over the internet of this not being a problem. I'm only concerned about once before the interview

    Did you click on the "New K-1 RFE Master List " stickied at top of forum?

    I'm not at that stage yet, but everything I've read says to pay the fee and ds-160 first. I don't think the date on there for when you expected to travel to the US matters. Might be relevant for other petition types. Just put a reasonable date on there.

    There's not much I can find on the internet of reports of people having success or denials with only meeting once before the Embassy interview except for very high risk countries like Nigeria, Cambodia, Afghanistan, ect. Any thoughts or reports on that would be appreciated. Besides being poor, my fiancée's country should he considered low risk. Not only is my fiancée country is very expensive to fly to, but my work has gotten complicated to where I'm unsure if I can travel there before interview (we are in the middle of NVC stage). This is why I'm asking the question.

    I jumped on the website this morning and saw this. It doesn't say approval and doesn't look like the same notices that I see other people post. And I've gotten no email or text message. So is this a Noa2 or not?

    Copy the bio part that has your information. I think it had your picture too. I'm not looking at a passport now. And also copy the pages that show you traveling to the beneficiary's country

    Retired. Assets. Longterm stocks. I myself bought stocks in 2022 that I haven't touched at all in 2023. They wouldn't be relected in a 2023 tax return

    Side note: Passport doubles as evidence of travel when you show them pages of visiting the country.
